Paiyu camp

Baltoro valley, Karakorum, Pakistan.

This camp is a door to the upper site of the valley, the light is a warm and magic welcome for us.

We walked seven hours from Jhula camp to Paiyu camp. Dry air, hot temperature, red stones, and at the end of the valley, the first snowy mountains.
Baltoro valley is large (about four kilometers) and the river is huge. Sand, thirst, tiredness at the end of the day.

At evening, I have taken some pics to mules, scattered all around the camp, and to a porter who was preparing the food for them, the hay.

Below, the river was muttering, at twilight.
