ZOOM MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 12.

Here is what I learnt front the service

It is our responsibility to seek God and conduct good things all of the time.
Our excellent deeds demonstrate our faith in God. God is the source of all good deeds, and as His creation, we are expected to do good at all times..

Phi 2:13
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Rom 2:4
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

We should desire to hear God's word at all times.

At all times, we should wish to hear God's word.

I also realized that men have four different types of hearts, as Brother Eli mentioned in the sower's story.

Mat 13:3-8
And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; and when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: and when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: but other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

The seed that fell by the side of the road indicates a heart that will hear God's word, be delighted for a time, but then refuse to put it into practice, allowing the devil to take it away.

The stony heart will accept the word but will not bear fruit because it has a rebellious heart that will not receive the message on purpose.

The thorny heart receives God's word but is full of sin; as a result, the word cannot take fruit because their sin chokes it up.

The fourth heart hears, receives, meditates on, and applies what they've learned, resulting in fruit in their life and in God's kingdom.

Eze 36:26-28
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

If we are willing to let Him, God will renew our hearts. He has the power to change our hearts, and He desires that we all be rescued.
