Monochrome photo for every day my personal photo challenge - 11/12/2023 - Issue - No.63
Everything has its own reasons, and as they say my love for monochrome photographs is probably somehow connected with the fact that I like to draw with pencils with a graphite rod and these drawings turn out monochrome like the numerous drawings that I had to draw at the university, when I was handing in my coursework.
This is what I liked then but at that time I was not at all friendly with the camera and treated it like an alien from another dimension with whom I did not want to have a conversation we were too different.
But many years later everything changed and monochrome took hold in my home as I did not stop drawing but began to take photographs.
And it seems to me that monochrome is simply created for architectural photographs for example for this staircase with a dizzying spiral of flights which I distorted a little to show the feeling that I experienced when I looked down from the top floor and it was not very pleasant with taking into account the shine of the nickel-plated elements of this staircase.
