Monochrome photo for every day my personal photo challenge - 12/04/2023 - Issue - No.84
For me this is a challenge, but for you, it can be a simple and easy read, or it can become a competition which you can read about below.
One day when I was visiting my distant relatives who live in the countryside I decided to walk around the house and in the backyard I saw a doghouse and an old dog who was lying near the booth and they were connected by a steel chain.
A relative came up to me and said that this dog was already seventeen years old and had stopped walking he was the longest-lived among dogs and his strength had already begun to leave him.
Then I thought about the fact that for seventeen years in a row this dog was called the word “friend” this is how people talk about their pets, calling them friends but is it possible to call those whom you always keep on a chain a friend?
Friendship is first of all trust and a steel chain contradicts this rather it is slavery and not friendship and it would be honest to say to the dog: Hey, slave, come here!
But sometimes it is difficult for people to tell the truth, and this truth holds the throat of the one who wants to speak this truth with both hands.
The fact that the dog knows that he will be fed and the fact that the person is ready to feed the dog does not make them friends.

This should be any monochrome photographic work; it does not necessarily have to be black and white, sepia and other variations are welcome, and it can also be monochrome photo collages.
