Greetings friends!

Today, we will continue to complete the series of postage stamps Animals of the USSR, issued, as you already understood, in the USSR in 1975.

For me, this is an opportunity to remind myself of the need to supplement this series with two more postage stamps, which I do not have. There are five postage stamps in this series, but in my collection, only three of them.

And, since for my publications I use only those postage stamps that I have in stock, for now, we will go to the fourth postage stamp with a denomination of 10 kopecks of the USSR, which depicts Western Capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus).

It must be very difficult to live in a world that considers you very tasty and one of the best hunting trophies.

This is exactly the situation in which Western Capercaillie finds itself.

He became an object for poaching, once, such a bird was served on the royal table.

There were no Western Capercaillie and hunters in my collection of photographs, so I decided to improvise a little and depicted a bird and a hunter ready to take a shot.

I did not strive to achieve similarity, this situation is suitable for most species of birds suitable for human food.

I edited a photo in the program PhotoDirector, which I also installed on my smartphone.
For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.
