Travel the World of Postage Stamps - Prehistoric Animals - Great Sloth (Megalocnus rodens) - Cuba 1982 - Michel Cuba 2695 - my hobby
Greetings friends!
When you are told that now you will see prehistoric, extinct animals, then, unwittingly, with a high probability, you expect to see huge creatures comparable in size to dinosaurs, or at worst, mammoths, but expectation and reality may not converge in one point.
But, a postage stamp from series Prehistoric Animals, issued on the island of Cuba in 1982, with a face value of 35 Cuban centavos, lives up to our expectations and we see a Gycan animal called the Great Sloth (Megalocnus rodens).
Regardless of the fact that a sloth must be lazy, I do not think that meeting such a giant in the garden would be very pleasant.
If you have an armful of fresh leaves in your hands, get rid of it quickly so that this charming bruiser does not trample you.
Don't worry though, we can only see it on a postage stamp in other animal painters' fantasies.
Let's take a look at this postage stamp.
