Let's Make a Collage: Freestyle (The Last Of Us)

Hi there creative friends!

Today, I'm back with my latest collage, this time exploring the theme of various emotions that inhabit within an individual. In this work, I present three characters marked with distinct colors, each representing different feelings (Happiness, Sadness, and Fear). Like birds trapped within a glass cage, they share space within it while other emotions fade in the outside world. Unlike before, where I depicted these emotions escaping through the windows of the house, this time they become symbols of the last remaining hope, sealed far away in a place yet to be revealed.

I created two images with different effects, below is the original.

Hello @bayuismail. I love your theme. I watched the series and was a bit scared ofthe vines growing out of the soil. I had to switch channels. But the concept was good. I didn't know the series was based on a game.

I love all the images you include in your scene, especially the hands. I didn't seen them at the LIL. I need to explore your images more. But where did you get the colored vines growing from the skulls. This image is what seals TLOU for me. It's perfect. I didn't see a link for those. Using them to represent emotions escaping is a awesome.

Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

Hi @justclickindiva. Thank you for stoping by. I have also watched this series and have seen gameplay of it multiple times from the streamers I frequently follow. It's fascinating to observe how the series portrays the end of the world caused by the fungus.

Actualy, this collage has no connection whatsoever with the TLOU series. I used the term to depict the last three remaining characters within the glass. These three characters persist when all other characters have vanished (become skulls).

Thank you for the reminder. Regarding the image link you mentioned, I don't have it since I created this image using the Pen tool combined with the Brush tool in Photoshop. I apologize for not mentioning it in my post. I will add it soon. I often create random images that I make myself, and this time I portrayed the souls departing from those skulls.

I understand. The scene reminded me of the fungus roots coming out of the decaying skulls. It's an amazing image, so I hope you contribute it to the LIL soon. I'd like to use it in my other mixed media art works.

Thanks for the clarification. Take care and have a good rest of your week.

Hi @bayuismail

Emotions are that extra ink that makes good art. So it is with your wonderful art.
Both pictures are able to convey happiness, sadness and fear, but both do it differently. It's fascinating to see that the first collage conveys more of the negative emotions, while the second does it the other way around.

Fantastic work! 👍

Thanks a lot for making use of my #LIL stuff.

Hi @quantumg

Thank you for stopping by. For me, the first picture feels quite heavy with darker shades. Nevertheless, this picture feels more vibrant.

I'm glad to be able to use your amazing collection.
