My Adorable Quadruplet Cat

Hi Everyone!

the sisters.jpg

Can you tell the difference between the four cats in the picture above? If you can, I think you are very observant. They are four different cats with almost the same features except for the last photo, which looks different.

So, today I will introduce to you the cats in my house. I haven't seen them in about three months since the last time. And now, they have grown into adorable adult cats with different personalities.

These are some photos I took about three months ago when they were little. Not much different, they are so cute and still adorable to this day. I named them with names that I found funny like Miki, Mochi, Molly, and Piksi. But for a few months, I wasn't home. I don't even recognize them anymore. Who's Miki, who's Molly? They look the same now.

Since the names I gave were difficult to remember, my mother changed their names according to the personality and behavior of each cat. That way, it will be easier to identify them. For me, it took more than a week to be able to memorize their names and faces. Haha. Sometimes their names are often confused when I want to call them. By the way, they are Yuki’s children who are descendants of Siamese cats. And now, Yuki instead left the house and chose to stay at my friend's which is not far from my house.

The first child (Gember)

Gember? Weird name isn't it? But because of their unique names, they are easier to remember than the names I gave. She is named Gember because she has a larger body than the other sisters. Gember means Melting. Like her big belly and it looks like it's melting. Because she eats more and is fatter than the rest, her belly has accumulated fat that makes her stomach look like an oversized garment. The name suits her with a sagging belly due to fat.

This one is my favorite. She looks like a boss who leads his sister while walking together. Her face looked like she was in a bad mood. You can see that she is always frowning. Frowning all the time. But, she is the most spoiled child for me than any other sister. And that's why she is my favorite.

Second child (Rembes)

PXL_20220923_022637248.MP~3.jpg

This one is the saddest. Her name was taken from her eye pain that never healed. My sister said that she was given the name because, at that time, she had eye pain that made one eye always shed tears. Rembes in Javanese means tears that come out when you wake up. That's why it's called Rembes. She sheds tears that make her eyes look red. She even had to close her eyes when she was outside to avoid direct sunlight.

It is difficult to get a picture of Rembes due to her shy nature. When she knew she was going to be photographed. She would usually walk away and avoid the camera. Move to find a place to be alone. Even so, she is the most obedient among her sisters. When I took her to bed, she was the only one who would sleep first while the other sisters were busy playing catch-up. She was often bullied and beaten by the Gember because she rarely retaliated and always gave in. Yes, Gember is the naughtiest child among them. And Rembes is the easiest victim to bully.

The third child (Kepo)

PXL_20220923_023630066.MP~2.jpg

Kepo is a term for someone who wants to know the problems or interests of others. Yup, you can call her Curious or Kepo. If the first child is named Gember because of her large body shape, the third child is named Kepo because of her high curiosity about the things around her. What's interesting about her is that she often tilts her head as if she is looking at something serious. She would also shake her head when she was curious. That's why she was called Kepo.

If Rembes is difficult when photographed, not with this one. She likes being in front of the camera. She even posed for a photo. Haha. Take a look at the photo with this tilted head pose. You can tell how curious she is.

If Gember is my favorite, Kepo is my mom's favorite. My mother often calls her name just to see Kepo's funny reaction. When her name was called, she would tilt her head as if she was observing the person calling her. And it's so adorable. Sometimes it can make us laugh out loud just seeing her reaction tilt her head.

Youngest child (Putih)

PXL_20220921_024004798.MP.jpg

You can see that only this youngest child has a different face from the other sisters. Putih means white. Her nose doesn't have a black pattern like the others. The fur also has a coarse texture with a shorter size. While sleeping, sometimes I often see her hugging herself. She will hug her lower leg using her upper. Because of her short fur, I guess it makes her feel cold. Hugging herself will keep her warm. She is also the only one who likes being hugged the most. I think it makes her comfortable.

PXL_20220921_024023196.MP.jpg

As the youngest child, Putih is the most active child compared to the other sisters. During the day or night, Putih always pays attention to something moving around the house (insects and small animals). She would patrol the house looking for and finding anything she thought could be used as a toy or food. Because of its activities that make it never stand still, Putih has a more solid and slender body shape than the others. She seemed to be born for it. Because of that, she became a commensurate opponent for her sister Gember who likes to oppress her younger siblings. Haha.

Honestly, I'm crying a little while writing this. Lol. They are one of the reasons I came home two weeks ago. Seeing those who are still babies and have now become teenagers who are growing. That makes me happy. They brought back memories of my other feline friends who had gone. They gave me memories that I will always cherish.

I hope you also enjoy getting to know my friends. Glad to be able to introduce them to all of you.
