Bright Light
As usual, I looked out of my window at the sky; the stars were bright and clear. Suddenly I saw a shining light moving in the sky. I thought it might be a shooting star, but it was something else.
The moving light starts from yellow to orange and then red. I was curious about it. My thousands of thoughts, and I wanted to test what it is. Since it was midnight, it was dimly lit outside, and my parents were sleeping, there was no way for me to go out. So I tried to sleep, leaving all thoughts aside. But I could not sleep. I close my eyes and see only that bright moving thing in the sky. It kept floating in my eyes.
Bad Cat
Cats have always dominated the animation genre, if not the central character, somewhere in the movie it will come out with its hypnotic eyes and never-failing purring to grab the attention or say, own the show. But not our Bad Cat, not our Shero; the cat with infinite desire to be intimate with all the charming female cats out there and bullying other cats in his territory.
Cassette Memories
For a couple of months, my sister has been carrying a boring black backpack. Whenever I see the smooth front surface of the bag, I imagine it like a black canvas where I can throw all the vivid colours.
But I have built a bad habit. Whenever it comes to painting anything for my family members, I get possessed by my indolence and sometimes it takes almost a year to fulfill their demands. But today, I tried to shake off my sluggishness and finally took the backpack.
The front part of the bag has some rectangular shapes which make it a little bit hard to use it as a single frame. After thinking for a while, I decided that putting some cassettes in those boxes will be the best way to fill out the gaps.
বাবা হবার প্রত্যাশায়...
বাবা হবার আনন্দ কেমন? বই পুস্তক কিংবা গল্প, কবিতায় মা হবার আনন্দের অনেক সুন্দর সুন্দর বর্ননা পাওয়া যায়৷ কিন্তু বাবা হবার আনন্দটা কেমন? কখনো কোথাও এসম্পর্কে তেমন কোনো লেখা পাই নি আমি। বইয়ের পাতায় বাবাদের দেখানো হয়েছে আবেগহীন এক জাতি হিসেবে, যারা সারাদিন কাজ আর অফিস ছাড়া কিছু বুঝে না। সংসারের কোনো সুখ দুঃখে যাদের কিছু যায় আসে না৷ রোবটের মতো দিন পার করা ছাড়া আর কিছুই নেই তাদের জীবনে। আসলেই কী তাই?
Intention!
Intention is the root of everything. By everything I meant everything, everything you can think of. Love, hate, noble or evil deeds, literally everything, you just name it.
I don't think I have ever tried to write something with this much anger and headache. I am feeling like my head is going to burst out.
অনুশোচনা (প্রথম খন্ড)
ভোর ছয়টা থেকে বৃষ্টি হচ্ছে আজ। চায়ের কাপে চুমু দিতেই মনে পরল ৬৭ বছর হয়ে গেছে আমার। কি পেলাম বা কি হারালাম এই ৬৭ বছর জীবনে। মনে পড়তেই নিজের অজানাতেই এসব অতীতের হিসেব মাপার খাতা খুললাম।
আমার জন্ম মাদারীপুরের মাটিভাঙ্গা গ্ৰামে। জন্ম থেকে অভাবে বড় হওয়া আমার। কিন্তু ছোট থেকেই পণ করেছিলাম যে একদিন আমার নিজের বাড়ি গাড়ি হবে। আমি আমার পরিবারের মতো গরিব হয়ে জীবন কাটাবো না। তাই যখন আমার ভাই বোন রা খেলায় ব্যস্ত থাকতো, তখন আমি মনোযোগ দিতাম পড়াশোনায়। গ্রামের ছোট্ট স্কুলে পড়লেও আমার রেজাল্ট বরাবরি ভালো হতো। এভাবেই ধীরে ধীরে আমি এগিয়ে যেতে শুরু করি ।তারপর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ভর্তির জন্য ঢাকায় আসি। হ্যাঁ,ভাগ্য এখানেও আমাকে সাড়া দেয়। ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে চান্স পাই। এর মাঝে আবার জীবনে প্রেমও আসে। যদিও মেয়েটি আমার মত গরিব পরিবার থেকে আসেনি,তবুও আমাদের ভালোবাসা এসব প্রতিকূলতা জয় করে।
