My Entry for the "SPK Network Tokens Logo Contest" | Proposal for SPK Token logo
Hello Everyone,
At first take my cordial love. How are you all? I am doing so well. Today I am coming with my another logo contest project. Actually I am going to submit my logo proposal for SPK Token once again. I knew the contest from the post SPK Network Tokens Logo Contest | 3,000 HBD in Prizes! by @spknetwork on 7th April. Already I submitted a logo for SPK Token with my best concept.. I tried more than 5 times to get the perfect logo for my proposal. In this post I am going to submit another logo for SPK Token. I am going to show you the proposal I made for SPK Token through this post.
INTRODUCTION
- What is SPK Token
SPK token is the capped governance token of the Network. An SPK token holder is able to influence the governance of the Network with their voting weight, based on how much of the SPK token they have Powered up. In order to vote a user must have powered up their SPK for at least 30 days. This gives the Network time to protect itself in case of a Sybil-type attack.

So this is the proposal logo of mine for SPK Token. I also tried my best for making the most attractive thumbnail for this proposal. SPK Token is the upcoming governance Cryptocurrency made by SPK Network. Already I read their Lightpaper to know the whole information about the Token. I am eagerly waiting for launching of the token. I hope it will do so much better in the near future. Hopefully you are so excited to see the main portfolio of my logo. Don't be excited, I have already started the main show!
COLORS
Now come to the main part of the logo. Yes I want to tell about the colors I used to make the logo. Seriously I was seeking for the best eye-catching color(s) for 1 week. Even I applied so many variants of color on the logo. I couldn't satisfied with most of them. Then I got these two color and don't waste a second to apply these on the logo. Hurrah! I feel very relieved after applying these. The gradient I used is also a combination of these two colors. I think this color combination can fit everything. Though both of the colors come from blue.
Before making this logo I tried to get the definition and the different of types of them. I saw most of the Cryptocurrency have Lettermarks and Pictorial marks logo for their branding. As a result I also wanted to make a perfect logo for the best branding of SPK Token. So I wanted to make a symbolic logo. Then I made this logo with the first letter of the Token "S". You can easily recognised the letter. I also made this logo shape like a chain. So the shape gives it a inner meaning of Security and Trust. It also means Blockchain by the chain shape.
LARGE BACKGROUND
I put the logo in large black and white background. By doing this I just want to justify the eye-catching level of the logo. You know that nowadays most of the website have the night mode. After activating the night mode the display might be black/dark. Without night mode the display would be white. So I want to present the logo in both black and white background. I am so glad that the logo suits so perfectly on both black and white background. Even I also checked that it suits on other coloured background too.
RESOLUTIONS
As the contest requirement said that Both large (main) and small (button / favicon / icon) designs will be required, so I prepared the logo with various resolutions. Big size for banner, thumbnail, footer. Medium size for exchange sites, wallet view, social media advertisement. Small size for button, favicon, icon, discord emoji. You can also see that the logo does not lose its attractiveness even though it is being smaller.
ICONS
As the contest requirement said Make a round and a square version of the logos, so in this picture I made two round shape logo and two square shape logo in two different pixels. I used the same gradient for making the border of those shapes. I made two 512px of the logo and two 256px of the logo. Now we can justify the visualization of the logo.
COIN MOCKUP
As SPK Token is a cryptocurrency, so I wanted to verify the design with a coin. So I put the logo on a coin and shape the logo big to small. I think the logo is perfectly suited with the coin.
DISPLAY MOCKUP
I made a mockup of the logo for Social Media Branding. Actually I made this one to justify the colour and design quality of the logo. I put some of SPK Token logo on the mobiles and also added a Buy Now symbol so that it could be used to any social advertisement banner.

I feel so happy to participate on this contest once again. I was planning since last week for another logo proposal for SPK Token. Finally I did it successfully. I don't know if the authorities like my logo, but tried hard to make the best logo for SPK Token.
