FELIZ DÍA DEL TRABAJADOR/HAPPY WORKERS DAY (SPANISH/ENGLISH)

Yo he tenido esa suerte.

HAPPY WORKERS' DAY

I consider that all honest work is praiseworthy, especially in times of crisis. That is to say, all work done with honesty. Personally, I chose a vocation that usually does not produce high income, I studied Language and Literature at university, despite the advice of relatives who recommended me to study something that would give me a better income. But since I was very young I loved reading and books, and since I was a teenager I began to write my own texts and decided to be consistent with that love, the most lasting I have ever had.

Therefore, the most logical thing to do was to study a career related to books and reading, and to look for a profession or trade that would allow me to apply my knowledge on the subject. Fortunately, I did not grow up in a context where having a lot of money was important. But neither in a family or in an intellectual social circle, linked to books and literature that would make it easier for me to make my way in the world of Letters.

Feliz Día del Trabajador.png

I started working in the world of books and literature at the age of 22, as a secretary in the Publications area, with the outstanding Venezuelan writer Alfredo Armas Alfonzo, at the Rómulo Gallegos Center for Latin American Studies. Those were several years of great learning in the area of book publishing. Then, between 1993 and 1994, I worked as Production and Media Manager at Grupo Editorial Alfa with editor Leonardo Milla, from whom I also learned a lot. And finally, a few years later, I started to offer my free-lance editorial services for publishing houses, and also my support to writers who wish to publish their books.

Parallel to my work in the publishing area, I started my other profession, which has given me great satisfaction: teaching. Since 1992 I began to give courses and workshops on creative writing (poetry, short stories, chronicles, creative writing) and literature. I have accompanied literary vocations of people of different ages, from very young people, to people who start writing after retirement, at the end of their working life.

Not everyone can work in something they really like. I have had that luck. But it was a path that I built, that I sought. Sometimes it was not easy, at times I had no money or very little, but as I said, it gave me and many of the people who have accompanied me deep satisfaction. I write mainly poetry and literary essays, I am not a writer of best sellers or soap operas, but in editorial work and teaching I found a way.

Whoever is directly controlling the V2K told me to kill myself.
They told me if I killed myself now it would save the lives of countless others.
Saying the longer I wait to kill myself the more people will suffer.

They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Your stay in prison will not be fun @battleaxe and friends. People are going to want you dead when they find out what you did. I hope you die a slow painful death. You sick mother fuckers.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?
