I was hungry for yield and tired of posting!

Such a crypto n00b I was. Chasing crypto strictly for paper fiat gains. Sure I sold at the top and bought some metals with it (last cycle). Had I held on to that crypto for just another couple of years I would have purchased twice the amount of metals. To be fair I was just trying to show how my hard 'work' could pay off in the real world. "See, this crypto isn't fake! I'm holding the fruits of my labor in my hand". But now what? I had proved this wasn't a waste of time.

Alright I understand people have to eat and perhaps Hive is a lifeline for others around the world. Unfortunately weekly profits of perhaps even $40 USD wouldn't buy much these day's in North America. Hive is nothing more than a faucet that leads back to fiat currency for some. I get it, it's a lifeline. For me I have been part of a community for years. I don't think I ever saw myself evolving into such communities; but that's what happened.

I acquired 5000 LEO tokens in order to be a LEO-Tiger. Crazy how I ignored 5000 LEO were equivalent to 2 ETHEREUM when the wrapping was announced. Proper trading would have had me power down immediately. But that power up meant something for me. I was foolish to sell many LEO tokens in the beginning. Somehow in this present time community seems to outweigh even profiting into other crypto's.

I am in somewhat of a conundrum now. Ever since LEO introduced CUB finance I parked much of my 1 LEO = 1 USD into liquidity pools. CUB helped me lock in much of that value even with impermanent loss. I have no choice to stay in CUB as it is producing yield close to $30 in blog posts! Does this stop me from blogging? Hell no!

So the real conundrum is not to cash into ETHEREUM as now my LEO is only worth 1/4 of a single ETHEREUM. I could have sold and re-purchased 4 x the amount of LEO but that's a power down question. It all depends on what your strategy will be. My strategy was simply a line in the sand which said HODL!

My real conundrum is keeping CUB or converting back to LEO! It would seem I have drawn a line in the sand and my 5000 LEO tokens will stay staked for my remainder of my stay on the platform (which will hopefully be years to come). Even CUB profits I continue to re-compound. For now at least, my CUB is valued in Bitcoin which continuously goes up as BTC goes down. Thus this is crypto!

What will the capitulation point be? Perhaps if I ever reached 1 BTC worth. That would probably mean LEO has outperformed BTC which is bat-shit crazy to think about. It has always been a dream of mine just to 'own' one of 21 million BTC but it probably won't be from posting or even DEFi in CUB. In any case I have stuck by HIVE and LEO through the previous bear markets. It hasn't failed me yet. Look at that though, I continue to post even though I am producing yield which sometimes took me a week of posting. I guess this proves Hive and it's second layer token LEO is not just an avenue to get crypto; but now an avenue to yield it without much action. That's pretty cool!

Those of us who were posting when Hive was barely ten cents or less; we deserve even day's like this. We are much higher than we were before, and we are still contributing no matter the market sentiment. This is the community effect and this is what ultimately fuels crypto and it's networks.

LEO finance is proving that we should change our psychology. We had no idea what was in the works and what will continue to be in the works. It's exciting to think what will be only two years from now (assuming there is no apocalyptical crash). If you are money hungry, you will probably rage quit rather than pursue. This is very much a slow race to the finish line. This is much like any successful work or business ethic. Those LEO Lions and head of the pack knew what they were doing. We should follow them.

My strategy is to just keep moving forward. Stack the coins of the projects you believe in and bring value to them. The gains will come and you will be happy that they came on the platforms you helped build. That said, it never hurts to make a smart trade when the time is right.

Oh same here, we got jacked on our LEO, I think I bought at the same time as you. I spent about 5k on them! I'm holding it's so low you don't lose until you sell. I just delegate my 5000 Leo to brofi and receive like .08 BRO a day with it. I suppose eventually it will add up, I might even dca more Leo to bring my latest average down. LEO really dumped on us!! I thought they were gonna launch the bridge, waited and nothing happened. So sad!

I say keep it all in CUB. That is what I am doing. I am not an expert by any means though. I don't really know how much CUB I bought, but I know it was at a higher price than the current one. I am just waiting to see if it goes back up. In the mean time, I just keep producing more CUB, so it isn't a total loss!

Here is a Secret Tip… I am earning way more Crypto posting and curating from the https://ProofofBrain.io front end and earning (POB) tokens than either LEO or Hive or almost anything else…. I have lost about $2,000 USD so far from converting my BNB to Cub… What can you do… live and learn I guess…. My other big earner is https://Blurt.blog … I earn about 10,000 Blurt a week and convert blurt to Bitcoin and Ethereum on Ionomy.com …. So many great places to earn Free crypto these days.
