Went fishing with our neighbor for a few hours one morning last week. It was early enough to catch this beautiful sunrise. ☀️The other pictures used in this post were all taken close to the fishing 🎣 area that morning.
We are now 7 weeks away from end of our 2 year experiment, and working towards reducing the gap to the new 1,500HP mark. 82Hive Power to go.

less than last week’s addition of 14. It seems each week our token increase is 5 tokens less than the previous week.

We are now at 1,418HP which means that we are at 83.6% of the journey to earn an additional 1000HP and on our way to slowly get to 1,500HP by the end of December 2022. So far we've earned an average of 9.HP weekly. We have 7 weeks remaining with a weekly target of 11.7HP.

Fishing gives me some time to create good memories with my sons. They enjoy it so its not something I have to convince them to do. It's also pretty relaxing sitting and looking out at the open water and taking pictures of the catch of the day. There is also the added bonus of being able to eat what we caught.
Yes, my dad used to love it. He bought a small boat, the Estrelita (Little Star), and went sea fishing regularly. Sometimes my mother and my younger sisters and brother went, too. I was a teenager by then and had other things to do. I think that may have been when my parents invested in a chest freezer to hold the catch.
I couldn't quite my head round going out to sea in freezing weather all through the winter, but my dad told me that "it was nice when it stops"!
It's lovely to spend time with your family and, as you say, create memories. My youngest stepson's birthday is this Friday and I was remembering all the things we used to get up to when he and his brother were younger. They're both grown and taken flight now.
Thanks for sharing your memories with us. The Estrelita (Little Star) sounds like a great name for a boat⛵. Our fishing is pretty simple. For now we are just catching Japanese horse mackerel by the pier nor too far from our home.
