Sunday Dashout Breakfast | Weekday vs Weekend Morning Routine

Last weekend we decided to make use of the things we had to make a mixed dish for breakfast. The mix included fried dumplings, baked sweet potatoes, vegetables and orange slices. What do you think would go well with this mix? Maybe eggs and bacon 🥓 and some cornmeal porridge.
Our breakfast items on a weekend tend to be more elaborate as we are not in a rush to leave for work or school. Do you have a similar experience?

What do you usually have for breakfast on the weekend? Is it usually different from your weekday morning meals?

Breakfast time is usually the same for us on weekdays as the kids have school and the adults work at a school. Lol 🤣. On weekends it's a little later than normal as presently most of our household has no early morning weekend activities away from home.
Although I often work on Saturday mornings, most of my family is usually home with organised activities outside the home (for the kids) starting in the afternoon. We usually have church on a Sunday morning but it starts later than our weekday work and school time.

I do realize that the families here on hive are quite varied with people at different stages of life. So if you don't mind I'd love to find out what your breakfast routine is like and if it's different on weekdays and weekends.

Stay connected, stay healthy.

We're also trying to give it more thought in the weekends. More elaborate recipes, even if it's just eggs, we'll try recipes that needs more time prepping and planning.

Oh and what about those working from home before, during and Covid...
Then, we had our meals together and could also take our time prepping the meals, because the travel time we would've lost we had gained in doing that.

Thanks for sharing @tanjakolader.

COVID days had their positives didn't they? I recall having time to experiment and learn to prepare a number of dishes. Interestingly enough, that was round about the time I started on hive too.

Although it's great having a job, having more time for family activities including more elaborate meals is fulfilling.

On weekends I usually eat an arepa in the morning, lunch always varies, I eat soups on Sundays, and dinners are usually bread with ham and cheese. As you say the families in Hive vary a lot, thank you very much for sharing this post.

Respect @mundomanaure.
To be honest I had to look up arepa. From the pictures it fried corn dumplings with some kind of meat, cheese or vegetables inside. Is that a fair description?
