Owambe: Celebration Of Marriage

Hy hivers and members of OCD, I wish you peace and love in this day.

Yesterday 7/12/2022, marked a celebration party of marriage with my friends. it was a marriage ceremony held by a close friend of mine, a former classmate in university. And she invited me with my team to be responsible for the makeup and decorations.

The beautiful decorations in the video are from my team including dresses worn.

I share on blog when I was into fashion and designs, this had made me learn to sew my clothes by myself.

Venue of the celebration

The venue of celebration was in a church where both couples met themselves and saw the need for progress through love union.

Actually marriage is a source of blessing because it was ordained by God. It is meant for matured couples alone not people who are carried away by love and lust. There is a need for choosing your partner which you find very needful for building your home.

Aims of the celebration

The marriage celebration was a union between an old school mate and her husband to be.

Though I couldn’t take more pictures personally with them because I arrived the venue late. I had an option to travel at night to as to appear the venue early but I didn’t want to risk it up due to the nature of my job and other engagements.
I arrived the venue quite late and the only way I could show some support and love for the marriage was by dancing out because I know my own time would be coming soon.

Result of celebration

The result of celebration was a successful outcome of a peaceful marriage ceremony.
The moment I arrived was when the ceremony was about to be rounded off so I couldn’t take pictures with the celebrants but could request for video shoot of my dance display.

Advice for celebrant

Here is my piece of advice for the celebrant (couples). Marriage is a union ordained by the creator himself. However the journey of marriage is either smooth or rough as it depends on how both couples plan it out.

I am sure they fully understand each other as they may have passed through the period of courtship. However since it’s a journey of life peace is dependent on their efforts to make it remain enjoyable. Arguments may arise in the future or misunderstanding discovered but the union is blessed if both couples can understand the need in hastening the presence of peace.

To the bride I will like to tell her to be submissive and humble to her man, to the bridegroom I will like to say your wife is your sister, you must not hurt her even though you do always find place to forgive and apologize. You are the driver of the marriage car.

Advice for intending couple

Marriage is sweet but divorce is bitter. As a matter of fact prayers are very vital for the creator to confirm you are linked with the right partner. When there is a relationship with wrong people it turns out to be another story you will find in headlines. But for intending couples I wish you the best through your journey.
