Weekly engagement; The prank that almost took my life

Yes since i grew up and know or understand what happens around me pranks like April fool has always existed, it was even worse when i was still a very young lady in my mid 20's, i was pranked so many times and i kept falling the trap hahahahah hahahahah hahahahah but there is one that almost took my life and after that i learned my lessons and became more careful, even till this day i find it difficult to believe people till i get to see an evidence of proof.
I know you my reader will be wondering how prank almost took my life, please patiently read my story.

How prank took my life (true life story)

When i was growing up i had a bicycle 🚲 that i always use to run some errands for the family, like going to the market, fetching water and i often serviced my bicycle and made sure its in good condition.
The worst of the whole is that i never ride slowly am always on high speed to the point that people always came complaining to my parents how rough i am why riding my bicycle and i never listened.
So on this faithful Monday evening i was pranked and the prank became disastrous.
My friend sent someone to tell me that the Governor of our state came to my village square and then it was a very fortunate occasion for the Governor to visit any village or community because he will make sure everyone that comes around benefits from his coming so everyone will want to be there.

And what made this prank so real was the fact that he has visit communities closeby so my village were expecting him and that message seemed so real to me, and also i wanted to benefit.
So i quickly jumped on my bike and ride out, with full speed i got to a Tee junction and i never knew a car was coming with full speed from the other side of the road 🛣️ the next thing i saw was that i was hit by the car and i fail off and my bicycle was destroyed, I was badly hurt 🤕 tho was still conscious so everyone came around and was asking me " where are you rushing to that you couldn't look?" I said i was rushing to the village square to see the Governor, "They say which Governor and where is he?" I was shocked and it became clear to me that my friends were pranking me and it was April one.
Shortly my friend ran to me and started apologizing that it was a prank and she didn't knew i will take it so serious, village people were so angry with her because i would have lost my life all in the name of prank, and i won't be writing this post at this point of my life.

Moral lesson.

Pranks has caused many pain for people even in recent times, it is very important to keep calm and verify any information before responding, do not become overly happy or rush out of the house without getting all the fact because it might out your life at risk just like mine then.
