February happens to be a good month for me and I'm sure its the same for most workers because it is a short month with just 28days, which means payday is quicker.

But then again, I learnt in school that every four years, February has 29 days which is referred to as a leap year.

Of course, I was curious to know the reason for this but I was met with "unknown answers". I refused to believe that there was no answer to that and then my quest led me to someone who told me that the leap year occurred because Joshua asked the sun to stand still....way back into the Bible.

I digressed😁

Ok now to the prompt proper, if I were to be born in February especially on the leap year that is 29th, wow, that would have been so lovely.

Reason being that I kindda find the 29th of February as a unique day, one that only comes around once in four years.

Also I consider those born in leap years as quite lucky because their birthdays are not common rather it happens once in a blue moon, which makes it special.

There would be enough time to plan for birthdays, make proper arrangements and make it a pomp affair.

Personally I don't throw birthday parties but I'd rather mark that day with a few friends and family members. There would be lot's to eat and drink of course.

Recently I have begun using my birtgday as an outreach, meeting the needs of the less privileged and orphans.

There is an orphanage in my community that I visit to gift necessary items like food, clothes and stationeries. Planning for this takes time, effort and money.

So if my birthday was 29th February, I believe I would have ample time to plan carefully towards the outreach in a grand way.

I would save comfortably towards the affair and get some of my loved ones involved because doing this is considered auspicious and quite rewarding spiritually.

For me, seeing the beautiful smiles of the kids faces and to hear them render heartfelt prayers as a form of gratitude is more than enough reward for me.

I think leap year babies born on the 29th have loads of birthdays as some celebrate on the 28th of Feb and 1st of March!

I also think that it is a unique day to be born on, as it occurs every four days. Definitely ample time to prepare for it in terms of celebrations and reflections on how far one has come or what happened during that time frame.

People born on leap years are special beings, it a rare year and your idea of bringing smiles to children’s faces by giving out foods and materials is remarkable. You have a very kind heart.

Yes, I had same thought too as regarding this. Feb 29 will be considered as a unique year to celebrate birthdays and also a time to plan well for the day and year. With enough plans for it, one would be able to achieve whatever they have set out to do. Leap year is always an amazing year for those born on the 29th and I wish them the best as they celebrate a new age soon.
