A little Recap of my first Experiences with NOISE

( EN / DE ) A week ago I got an invitation link from @mypathtofire to a newly created micro blogging platform called noise.app

What I've been able to experience so far: It's sort of the successor to Noise Cash. I knew Noise Cash only by hearsay, was never active there. Apparently the big problem was that over time there were way too many spam accounts that infiltrated the system. At least that's what I heard why this app started new, without any connection to the old noise cash.

noise.app is now supposed to be an attempt to build something new, which should make it easier to have only "real" users by certain rules.

One of these ideas is that you can only sign up through an invitation link from an already active user.
Another (and this is the one that was very confusing at first) is that you can only reply to posts from users who also follow you. If the other person is not a follower of yours, then you can follow them yourself and give them a like heart, but you can't reply to their post, which in turn protects you from being "cluttered".

But then how to connect with new people? Well, you can reply to other "non-followers" within the posts of followers, and the way I see this, that makes you more likely to meet people who are on the same wavelength.

I was never a friend of Twitter, I opened my account there only recently to be able to use POSH. I've also never really been comfortable with LEO threads.
But this Noise seems interesting to me. Just posting a quick pic and some text is something I've been missing a bit on Hive.

Very interesting is that the platform is just filling with life and from my point of view, but also a, let's call it "HIVE Bubble", where I was already allowed to meet new Hivians such as @achim03 or @brand28 or with @friendlymoose I know for a long time, but not really got to speak to each other before we met on noise. But also found some old friends, like @chaosmagic23 @whywhy @coquicoin or @idksamad78699

Also the promotion of the own HIVE postings works well and brings quite the one or other visitor. In addition, this also aroused interest in people who did not yet know Hive and could thus also contribute a little to onboarding.

It also gets interesting when you look at the earnings on my wallet. To get tips, you have to enter a so-called "donation address" in the Noise app in your own profile under Settings.

You can choose between BCH, BTC, ETH, SmartBCH and Paypal.
Many people choose an address from blocktrades and get converted HIVE on their wallet, like @mypathtofire for example.
I chose to simply deposit my hive engine BCH deposit address. You can see the result of this week below, before that the BCH amount was zero.

So far I have received 0.03 BCH, which is about $3. I know others who have received far higher returns.
How and where these rewards come from is unclear though, no one has been able to explain it to me exactly, also we will have to wait and see how the reward system will change in the future.

The app itself works very well, there is even a German menu navigationand the structure is simple:

• the noise feed "unread posts"
• discussions is for the posts in which you had already participated
• explore section to find new users
• messages for DMs
• But the simplicity I also find very nice.

Eine kleine Zusammenfassung meiner ersten Erlebnisse mit NOISE

Vor einer Woche bekam ich einen Einladungslink von @mypathtofire zu einer neu erstellten Micro Blogging Plattform mit dem Namen noise.app

Was ich bisher erfahren konnte: Es ist sozusagen der Nachfolger von Noise Cash. Ich kannte Noise Cash nur vom Hörensagen, war dort nie aktiv. Anscheinend war das große Problem, dass es mit der Zeit viel zu viele Spam Accounts gab, die das System unterwanderten. Zumindest habe ich das so gehört, warum diese App ohne jede Verbindung zu den alten noise cash accounts kreiert wurde.

noise.app soll nun wohl ein Versuch sein, etwas neues aufzubauen, das es durch gewisse Regeln erleichtern soll nur "echte" User zu haben.

Eine dieser Ideen ist, dass man sich nur durch einen Einladungslink von einem schon aktiven User anmelden kann.
Eine weitere (und das ist die, die anfangs sehr verwirrend war) ist, dass man nur auf Posts von Usern antworten kann, die einem auch folgen. Ist der andere kein Follower von dir, dann kannst du ihm zwar selbst folgen und ein like Herzchen geben, aber du kannst ihm nicht auf seinen Post antworten, was wiederum davor schützt "zugemüllt" zu werden.

Aber wie kann man dann mit neuen Leuten in Kontakt treten? Nun, man kann auf andere "Nicht-Follower" in den Beiträgen der Follower antworten, und so wie ich das sehe, ist es dadurch wahrscheinlicher, dass man Leute trifft, die auf der gleichen Wellenlänge sind.

Ich war nie ein Freund von Twitter, meinen Account dort habe ich erst vor kurzem eröffnet um POSH nutzen zu können. Auch mit LEO Threads konnte ich mich nie so richtig anfreunden.
Aber dieses Noise scheint mir interessant zu sein. Einfach mal schnell ein Bildchen und ein wenig Text zu posten, das ist etwas, das mir auf Hive ein wenig gefehlt hat.

Sehr interessant ist, dass sich die Plattform gerade erst mit Leben füllt und aus meiner Sicht entsteht aber auch eine, nennen wir es mal "HIVE Bubble", wo ich auch schon neue Hivians wie zum Beispiel @achim03 oder @brand28 kennenlernen durfte oder mit @friendlymoose den ich zwar schon länger kenne, aber nun wirklich dazu kamen sich kennen zu lernen.

Auch das Promoten der eigenen HIVE Postings funktioniert gut und bringt durchaus den einen oder anderen Besucher. Außerdem weckte das auch Interesse bei Leuten, die Hive noch nicht kannten und könnte somit auch ein wenig zu Onboarding beitragen.

Interessant wird es auch, wenn man sich die Einnahmen auf meinem Wallet ansieht. Um Tips zu bekommen muss man in der Noise App, im eigenen Profil bei Einstellungen eine sogenannte "Spendenadresse" hinterlegen.

Zur Auswahl stehen BCH, BTC, ETH, SmartBCH und Paypal.
Viele wählen eine Adresse von blocktrades und bekommen dadurch gleich umgewandelte HIVE auf ihr Wallet, so wie zum Beispiel @mypathtofire
Ich habe mich dafür entschieden, einfach meine hive-engine BCH deposit Adresse zu hinterlegen. Das Ergebnis dieser Woche seht ihr nachfolgend, davor das der BCH Betrag auf Null.

Bisher habe ich 0,03 BCH erhalten, was in etwa 3 $ sind, wobei ich andere kenne, die bei weitem höhere Erträge erhalten haben.

• Diskussionen ist für die Posts in denen man sich schon beteiligt hatte
• "Erkunden" Bereich um neue User zu finden
• Nachrichten für DMs.
  Aber die Einfachheit finde ich auch sehr schön.

Viel mehr kann ich bis jetzt nicht dazu sagen. Diese Woche hat es relativ viel Zeit in Anspruch genommen, weil ja auch alles sehr neu war. Vor allem der Anfang und Aufbau des Accounts benötigt schon Zeit und Engagement, aber das ist ja hier auf unserer geliebten HIVE Chain auch nicht anders.
