Green and Toilets - a Thursday Post

However, I also had to realize my lack in experience when it comes to report and document a public toilet. I should have taken a few more details for a good photographically record. Well, now the photos are as they are and I do not want to withhold them from you.
Allerdings musste ich auch feststellen, es fehtl mir eindeutig noch an Erfahrung, wenn es um Bericht und Dokumentation einer öffentlichen Toilette geht. Da hätt man doch noch ein paar Details mehr fotografisch festhalten können. Nun, jetzt sind die Fotos wie sie sind und ich will sie euch nicht vorenthalten.

Actually, this would be a very normal, boring toilet, which they have built there in the Restauran Thalersee. Wise tiled walls, classic stainless steel cubicles and plain stainless steel sinks. Well, creativity may be different, but it serves its purpose.
Eigentlich wäre das eine ganz normale, langweilige Toilette, die sie da im Restauran Thalersee gebaut haben. Weise gekachelte Wände, klassische Edelstahl Kabinen und schlichte Edelstahl Waschbecken. Naja, Kreativität geht vielleicht anders, aber es erfüllt seinen Zweck.

I was a bit surprised that there is no touch-free way to activate the water at the sink. This is a new building and since Covid it is everywhere common to install them touch-free. Well, not here. Maybe you don't expect any nasty mini micro organisms in the middle of the forest and nature, who knows.
Etwas verwundert war ich, dass es keine berührungsfreie Möglichkeit gibt, das Wasser am Waschbecken zu aktivieren. Es handelt sich hier ja um einen Neubau und seit Covid ist doch überall gang und gäbe diese zu installieren. Nun, hier nicht. Vielleicht erwartet man in mitten von Wald und Natur keine bösen Mini Micro Organismen, wer weiß.

But all that is actually made away by these two ferns hanging from the ceiling and a red fluorescent tube. These transform the average toilet into a very pleasant room with a friendly atmosphere. This gives the overall picture some magic and enchantment. Always fascinating what a little green can do in a room.
Aber all das wird tatsächlich durch diese zwei Farne, die an der Decke hängen und eine rote Leuchtröhre weggemacht. Diese verwandeln das durschschnittliche Klosett dann nämlich in einen sehr angenehmen Raum mit freundlicher Atmosphäre. Das verleiht dem Gesamtbild etwas Magie und Zauber. Immer wieder faszinierend, was so ein bisschen Grün in einem Raum bewirken kann.
