Some Pink in my Life - december 2

( EN / DE ) In my youth, I did not like rose and pink at all. But sometime after my 40th birthday, a few items started creeping into my life and into my living spaces, that had those colors. It almost seemed like I needed those colors at that time.

Color psychology says there's something calming down, spreading love about these colors, that they smoothe and make us feel more compassionate. It radiates positivity and cheerfulness.
There are even studies of felons being put in solitary cells completely painted pink to calm themselves down. This actually seems to work.

Back to my own life, I can say, yes these colors came into my environment at a time when I actually needed reassurance and compassion.

The idea to write something about the color Pink came to me today when I noticed that in the ecency discord this is the color for users with "Community Supporter Role". @foxkoit and I were assigned by @melinda010100 with this color. And ;-) while I was totally happy and proud about it, dear Foxkoit didn't like it so much. But the color suits him really well! ;-)

In meiner Jugend mochte ich Rosa und Pink ganz und gar nicht. Aber irgendwann ab meinem 40. Geburtstag haben ein paar Gegenstände mit diesen Farben angefangen, sich in mein Leben und meine Wohnräume zu schleichen. Es hatte beinahe den Anschein, als hätte ich diese Farben zu dieser Zeit gebraucht.

Die Farbpsychologie sagt, dass diese Farben etwas beruhigendes an sich haben, dass sie besänftigen und uns mehr Mitgefühl empfinden lassen. Rosa und Pink strahlt Positivität und Fröhlichkeit aus.
Es gibt sogar Studien über Schwerverbrecher die in komplett mit Pink ausgemalte Einzelzellen gesteckt werden, um sich zu beruhigen. Dies scheint tatsächlich zu funktionieren.

Zurück zu meinem Lebenslauf kann ich sagen, ja diese Farben kamen zu einer Zeit in mein Umfeld, als ich tatsächlich Beruhigung und Mitgefühl für mein Umfeld gebraucht hatte.

Die Idee etwas über die Farbe Pink zu schreiben kam mir heute, als ich feststellte, dass dies die Farbe im Ecency Discord Server für User mit "Community Supporter role" sind. Foxkoit und ich bekamen diese Farbe von Melinda zugewiesen. und ;-) während ich total happy darüber und stolz darauf war, fand es der liebe Foxkoit nicht ganz so prickelnd. Dabei steht ihm die Farbe echt gut! ;-)
