Time Dreams Past Future Now

"It is not too little time that we have, but it is too much time that we do not use." (quote Seneca)

Everything is interwoven, just as we humans are interwoven with the entire universe. A jump back in time and everything would be different or not, who knows. Perhaps we have already jumped back and have only forgotten?
Maybe we live exactly this one life over and over again, making the same mistakes and lucky breaks over and over again?
Maybe differently each time with completely different results?
Or we do it differently and still achieve the same results? So everything for nothing? A Monty Python quote comes to my mind:

"You come from nothing,
you go back to nothing,
so what have you lost? NOTHING!!!"

The greatest question of mankind, right? What would have been if... And it is such a senseless question, which can only drive you crazy. It is now once so that we have only this one time and this is exactly now in this moment.
If you are reading these lines, then probably a few hours have passed since I wrote them and maybe I will regret not having written them differently. But nothing and nobody can go back in hive time and erase what he has engraved there in the chain. Unless one day in the very distant future maybe someone comes along and erases the entire chain? Or the last man of this earth reads the lines here once more before he also closes his eyes forever and the words remain useless in the eternety of time, because nobody is here to read them anymore. But still valuable, because someone was there once, who had written them, for whatever reason.

In this way, the Hive Blockchain is like our lives. We can forget, cover it up, not pay attention to it. But still, everything that ever was is there. My body and my life are a blockchain! Every experience engraved somewhere forever, until one day in the very distant future, the body will dissolve. But what will happen to the thousands of written blocks then? Will my soul take them with me into infinity or will they crumble to dust just like the physical part of myself?

Of course, there is a lot that I would have liked to have done differently in my 54 years of life on this earth. But, no.

I'm sorry, Galen, this time I'm not going to step into your Weekend Engagement thought suggestions to go back to another time. It simply doesn't feel coherent today. For too long I have been thinking about lost and missed, have I learned anything from it? Well from the experiences themselves for sure, but thinking about them and wanting to go back in time seems very beside the point right now.

Imagine:
Here you stand... behind you and under you is everything you have experienced and much more. Your ancestors, the entire history of the earth, everything is behind you and exactly THAT is what makes you what you are!
Isn't that a beautiful, powerful thought?
It gives us the strengh we need to go on and act!
It can help us to be serene, to accept and appreciate the moment as it is right now very powerfully. To simply appreciate our ancestors, the past, the now and whatever may come, because this is our life.

Seneca, whom I quoted at the beginning of this post, was born 4 years before Christ and died in the year 65 counted in our timeline. It is always interesting how mankind learns NOTHING from the past, because obviously we still have the same time problem as the great poet and philosopher Seneca recognized in his times society.
Over 2000 years and we are still struggling with the quality of our years of life and time, dear Seneca, all the wise words of STOA have been of no use to us so far.

And it was the same Moon shining on the same Earth at Senecas time, as you see above on my photo from our time. So, nothing lasts forever, but the earth and sky....

This was my - different as usual - entry to @galenkp 's Weekend Engagement Questions. As alway thank you so much dear Galen for giving me inspiration on my postings :-)

Whoever is directly controlling the V2K told me to kill myself.
They told me if I killed myself now it would save the lives of countless others.
Saying the longer I wait to kill myself the more people will suffer.

They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Your stay in prison will not be fun @battleaxe and friends. People are going to want you dead when they find out what you did. I hope you die a slow painful death. You sick mother fuckers.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?

Also alles umsonst? Dazu fällt mir doch ein Monty Python Zitat ein.

„You come from nothing, you go back to nothing, so what have you lost?! NOTHING !!!“

Die große der Frage der Menschheit, oder? Was wäre gewesen, wenn...

Certainly nothing lasts forever and I'll put the planet in on that list also; hmm, well, at least it won't last in its current form anyway. Change is inevitable. A look into history demonstrates that rather clearly. The time humans have been on the planet is a mere fraction of time when compared to the existence of the planet and despite the fact humans beings like to think they're in control, they're not. we're not. So, I think it's a good idea not to waste any of our time as individuals and to work towards getting the best we can from what time we're allotted.

Hi thanks for stopping by, can it be you never used the #introduceyourself tag for a post? So maybe an idea to get more eyes on you. This tag you can only use once in your hive life time :-)

I did one of those but thank you for suggesting it. I think maybe people have firmly established relationships and are not out there looking for others. It's ok, I'll meander along in my own way.

What would have been if... And it is such a senseless question, which can only drive you crazy.

I think the What If question is one of the most pointless yet harmful questions that anyone can ask my fellow night owl.

What is done is done, I live in the now.
Great words you have written that give food for thought, and thanks for sharing!
Enjoy your Sunday:)

I do think our lives have purpose and meaning - if we choose to accept and take on the challenge. I don't think we "go back to nothing" and yes, I think we have much to lose. I love, for example, this quote from you ⬇️

But still valuable, because someone was there once, who had written them, for whatever reason.

Your text is provocative and made me reflect on the drama of life and its purpose. Thanks, @beeber!
