I think the idea of alot of people just surviving instead of actually living is paid little or no attention.
Perhaps because they have a job or just somewhere they go every day to earn money and somehow they are automatically expected to be 'okay'.
Although with the recent pandemic I must confess that there seems to be a glimmer of hope of people actually coming together for one another in little ways. Perhaps we can hold until that for now.

Maybe the pandemic has woken some people up to what their life might actually be, as they have to spend more time in it - less time avoiding at work or in commute.

Hmmm. Interesting view. I never thought of it that way but that actually makes a whole lot of sense. Having more time to actually sit and reflect on certain things which we would normally be to occupied to even consider doing.
