100% Confirmation that Project Blank is coming very soon to the Sooniverse

It has been in the works for quite some time now but I'm pleased to hear that Project Blank is on the way. Project Blank is one Leofinance development that I'm particularly enthused by because I really want to make memes.

In the past couple of weeks, I have spent a lot more time than I usually do on Twitter. I've mostly been shitposting but I'm always worried about getting banned over some bogus shit there.

Anyway, some hours ago, I interacted with a Tweet from the official Leofinance Twitter and enquired about Project Blank. I got a straightforward answer that I think the community should be excited by.

In a Tweet by the Leofinance team about incoming developments in the ecosystem in July, I enquired about Project Blank coming soon. To which I got a response, "Basically, yes".

Now before you get too excited, this could mean one of two things. It could be that;

• We are going to see Project Blank released this month
• Project Blank's release date might not be this month but we are getting closer to it in the Sooniverse.

The Leofinance team has a history of dropping numerous Soon Bombs, so confirming my enquiry could really not have changed anything in the timeline.

At the same time, the fact that the Tweet I replied to specifically talks about developments coming in July makes me wonder. Are we going to be getting Project Blank this month or at least will we get the real name of the project?

About Project Blank

Project Blank is a placeholder name given to an incoming short content platform that Leofinance is developing. Think of it like the crypto version of Twitter.

At the time of writing, there is one short content creation platform on hive called Dbuzz and while it functions on the top layer, it has the disadvantage of popping up short content in your long content feeds.

The plan for Project Blank is to create a short content platform that will be leveraging Hive's underlying technology without popping up in the feeds of users that want to consume long form content.

As I mentioned earlier, the project will not be named "Project Blank", as this name is only a placeholder. It will most likely have one of those catchy memorable names like Zangu or something.

One thing we know for sure is that Project Blank will not be like any other front-end we have on Hive. It will not be another cut-and-paste front-end that sends content into the same feed.

Project blank is going to be or has been built from scratch and while it is built on Hive, it will function in its own unique way. The concept of upvotes, downvotes and all those other things unique to traditional hive front-ends might not be on Project Blank.

Project Blank has to hit the ground running, so the release and everything in between have to be done almost perfectly. While Twitter differs greatly in size, project blank will technically be its competition and as they say, when you're aiming for the king, don't miss.

In any case, I am erectfully excited about this incoming project and the opportunity to post memes on a short content platform on Hive.
