Ask Leo: What have you bought with Crypto this year?

We're 15 days into the new year and it's already starting to feel old. The beer market hit us unexpectedly, but recently, the heat is starting to reduce.

In the midst of the beer market, a lot of traders and crypto-employed still made profit from their activities.

The amount of people getting into crypto keeps increasing. Just the other day, I was at a supermarket and saw someone ticketing some stuff on Binance.

I enquired from him and after a brief introduction, he said he trades for a living. I should hit him up one day for a beer or something.

Anyway, the fact that he trades for a living means that he lives off crypto. Your source of income pays for everything you do, it's that simple.

So here we were at the counter, both waiting to pay for goods that we both purchased from crypto. Two random strangers that live off crypto.

In the years to come, there will be a lot more of those meetings. Many people in other countries will also be experiencing similar encounters to what I did.

The evolution

The crypto market is evolving every day. As it evolves, it is constantly creating new avenues of revenue.

It's not just the revenue though, it's the problem-solving. However, a universal law in life is that whenever you're solving a problem, you're definitely getting some form of payment.

So the evolution of crypto is touching lives in different parts of the world. It is very touching and gratifying to be a part of something so huge.

For example, @acesontop has talked about how he lives off crypto in Romania. In the past, I never thought it possible because Romania is in Europe.

There's also my role model and legendary shill @trumpman who is pretty much retired these days. People like him give me hope.

I always figured that I was able to survive on crypto because I live in Nigeria where our currency is crap and the cost of living is low. Little did I know that there are people in Europe, America, Asia, and virtually everywhere in the world living off crypto.

This kind of makes me excited at the prospects of what is to come for me in the future. It pleases me to note that I can actually grow my portfolio to the point where I'll be able to sustain life in countries with better facilities than Nigeria.

What have you been buying?

For me, this is an easy answer because my life is sustained by crypto. I reinvest most of my earnings but I also sell a little bit for the necessities and then some.

I saw a publication by @josediccus that talked about the nature of crypto wealth. He talked about a couple of important things but something that stood out was when he brushed over the fact that sometimes people have crypto but can't sell for various reasons.

The market is volatile and nothing is promised. So we just constantly compound and hope it swings in our favour one day.

In the midst of this, people still try to improve the quality of their life with crypto.

I know people that pay for holiday trips, food, rent, and virtually everything else with crypto. I'm just one of the millions of lives that have been touched by the crypto industry.

If I had the option, would I sell? Yeah, I probably would because I like to take profit.

Perhaps if I had a job I'll only keep my profit in USDT then re-enter the market. However, I don't, so I use a bit of profit to improve my life and that's not a bad thing.

I respect people that don't sell, you're the real MVPs. Perhaps one day I'll get to that point, but until then, I need crypto to survive.

So crypto helps me buy useful stuff like food and water. It also helps me buy entertainment, and the other less important but they give me some level of satisfaction.
