Gaming day after stressful day

My day off goes by really fast when I'm playing video game. I went out with my wife to do some shopping, got some beer that I just remembered and will drink in a moment, and then played call of duty for the other part of the day.

I'd have liked to do outdoor things today but everything is so expensive. I'd rather just save whatever money I would have spent and enjoy being at home.

Due to the international break, there wasn't any football to watch. It kind of sucks the life out of the weekend but at least we got some international football that others seem to care about.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I had a horrible end of my shift last night because of a customer being an absolute twat. We got into an argument and in the process, I got hit with some low-key racist jabs. You know, things like "English is not your first language" and stuff like that.

I've learnt to take it all in my stride and not be too bothered. Actually, I know of feel sorry for many English people who are oblivious of how many cultures their country colonised and forced to adopt English.

It is either history isn't taught in schools or they just cut out all the colonisation stuff to make it more palatable. Oh well, I wouldn't even be digging this up if I didn't get into the argument and for that, I blame myself.

Sorry the customer gave you a hard time. My daughter worked in customer service and listening to her made me into a much nicer person when dealing with customer service. The flip side is when you are nice and pleasant they seem to really try to help you, perhaps because someone being nice to them is so rare?
