Meeting Leo staking target and working on a plan

I planned to get to 1500 Leo power before the end of the month. As of three days ago, I was only around 1380 staked Leo, so I had resigned to not catching the target.

However, after Hive's run-up two days ago, I caught an opportunity to buy some "cheap" Leo.

This is the first time in a long while that we've seen Hive surpass Leo in terms of unit coin value. This also presented an opportunity to squeeze out some hive from my wife's account to get some Leo in the Dex.

I only took out 70 hive and filled sell orders at 0.96hive per Leo. That took my stake up to 1484 Leo power and within reach of my target.

I only need 16 more Leo to reach this target and that's going to be covered by my incoming payouts.

Setting and achieving this target felt good. It also feels nice to increase the value of my vote.

So due to enjoying that feeling, I've decided to set a monthly target of staking at least 300 Leo.

I don't earn up to 300 Leo from my posts, so it will involve going into the market. Since my power down is still active, I'll be using Hive from there to make purchases in the market.

Working on a plan

Getting Leo through the farm would have been easier but due to a financial product that I'm creating, I'll leave the funds in the pool to grow until they're enough to reinvest in another venture.

Yesterday I drafted out the plans for the project. It included a roadmap, a distribution model, and some other stuff. I intend to run it on Hive and it will initially trade on hive engine before going outside hive.

I can tell you that it will be a cross-blockchain product that will suck in value from everywhere for investors. For now, I'm testing Excel sheets and graphs to make sure the model works.

This testing will last till the end of the year and the earliest we'll see something come out will be next year.

It's a lot of work but I'm excited that I'm going to fulfill this dream of creating something that will add value to the community.
