DIY: New set of underpants for my nephew ** Nuevo set de calzoncillos para mi sobrino (Eng - Esp)
Hello creative friends I hope you are enjoying good health and can achieve your projects, today begins a new month with great expectations for the progress in our personal goals; for my part I must say that February passed very quickly I could not fulfill the sewing projects I had planned; daily occupations and school activities of my son have been at the top, I barely have time to sew, but among so many occupations you can always move forward even a little in sewing projects.
This time I share with you the making of some underpants for my nephew Aaron, he is the youngest baby in the family and I try to make the most of the fabric scraps to make him little clothes, the sewing jobs regularly leave small cuts of fabric that allow us to create beautiful designs, this little one always wins, every sewing project even if it's just a pair of underpants or flannel fits him, that's the wonderful thing about using scraps of fabric.
Hola amigos creativos deseo se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud y puedan lograr sus proyectos, hoy inicia un nuevo mes con grandes expectativas para el avance en nuestras metas personales; por mi parte debo decir que el mes de febrero pasó muy rápido no pude cumplir con los proyectos de costura que había planeado; las ocupaciones diarias y actividades escolares de mi hijo han estado en el tope, apenas tengo tiempo par coser, pero entre tantas ocupaciones siempre se puede avanzar aunque sea un poco en los proyectos de costura.
En esta ocasión les comparto la elaboración de unos interiores o calzoncillos para mi sobrino Aarón, es el bebé más pequeño de la familia y trato de aprovechar los retazos de tela al máximo para hacerle ropitas, los trabajos de costura regularmente quedan pequeños cortes de tela que nos permiten crear lindos diseños, este pequeñín siempre sale ganando, de cada proyecto de costura aunque sea un calzoncillo o franela le queda, eso es lo maravilloso de usar retazos .
The materials used were:
Micro peach fabric 180 (red wine and black).
Micro melagne fabric.
Elastic (1 cm for the waist)
Elastic (0,7 cm for the legs)

Los materiales usados fueron:

I started by marking and cutting the pieces of the underpants, as I used scraps the front part of one of them has two colors; then I joined the pieces with straight stitch and closed the opening of the reinforcement and front part, to work more comfortably I fastened with pins, this way the fabric remains stable and does not stretch.

Inicié marcando y cortando la piezas de los calzoncillos, como usé retazos la parte delantera de uno de ellos tiene dos colores; luego uní las piezas con puntada recta y cerré la abertura del refuerzo y parte delantera, para trabajar más cómoda sujeté con alfileres, de esta forma la tela se mantiene estable y no se estira.

This type of project is easy to make, also an excellent option to take advantage of scraps and save costs; the fabrics are soft and fresh special for babies; the micro melagne is one of my favorites, the texture and thickness are excellent and it sews very well, I am satisfied with the result and I hope my nephew feels very comfortable with his new underpants, he is already growing and in the process of leaving diapers, so other underpants will be very useful for him.
Este tipo de proyectos es sencillo de hacer, además una excelennte opción para aprovechar los retazos y ahorrar costos; las telas son suaves y frescas especiales para los bebés; la micro melagne es una de mis favoritas la textura y grosor son excelente y se cose muy bien, estoy satisfecha con el resultado y espero que mi sobrino se sienta muy cómodo con sus nuevos interiores, ya está creciendo y en proceso de dejar los pañales, así que otros interiores le serán de gran utilidad.

Que bueno que encuentras un tiempito para dedicarle a la costura, es muy util saber coser porque te puedes hacer tu propia vestimenta a tu gusto. Es una gran ventaja amiga puedes hacer la ropa a tu gusto y combinar tus colores favoritos, pero aún puedes aprender, yo inicié en este hermoso mundo de los hilos la agujas con la maternidad y te cuento que es mi gran pasión y mi momento de relax, además me gusta porque le puedo hacer la ropa a mi hijo a su medida y estilo, también al consentido de la tía, el siempre sale ganando.

Feliz y bendecido inicio de mes amiga, que bonito proyecto de retazos tu sobrino tiene mucha suerte de lucir unos calzoncillos tan coquetos que le hizo la tía con tanto amor, también aprovecha todos los retazos siempre los guardo y creo mis proyectos, no soy costurera pero cuando visito amigas, como saben que me gusta hacer mis pequeños proyectos me los regalan.
Saludos amiga, muchas gracias los días van literalmente volando ya inició el primer trimestre del año, igual para ti que tengas un mes cargado de bendiciones; es el sobrino más pequeño y tiene ala tía enamorada, en cada proyecto el termina beneficiado sin estar incluido je, je al ver los retazos digo alo se le puede hacer a Aaroncito con esto.
Los retazos son de gran utilidad yo tengo una súper bolsa, donde los clasifico por tamaño y han sido mi salvación en varia emergencias; los más pequeño los uso para rellenar cojines, luego de lavarlos con detergente y vinagre.
