Saludos amigos creativos en todo el mundo, les deseo una excelente y bendecida semana en unión de sus seres queridos, me siento feliz de compartir con ustedes la elaboración de unos hermosos agarra ollas en forma de ponqué (cup cake), que además de ser muy útiles para proteger las manos mientras manipulamos las ollas calientes, también sirven para decorar la cocina, están elaborados con retazos de tela y su elaboración es sencilla, estos proyectos pequeños son una gran opción para aprovechar los retazos de tela, reducir costos, reciclar la ropa que ya no usamos, crear hermosos diseños combinando telas y colores, también se puede iniciar un emprendimiento elaborando además de los agarra ollas posa vasos, salva manteles, paños de cocina entre otros que son de gran utilidad en la cocina, sencillos de hacer y se pueden vender a precios muy accesibles.

ELABORATION
I started by marking the molds on the fabrics; for the base of the cake I used blue fabrics of different prints and for the upper part I used one fabric with a vegetable motif and the other with candy designs, then I folded the fabric right side facing, placed the wadding underneath and pinned with pins.

Inicié marcando los moldes en las telas; para la base del ponqué usé telas azules de diferentes estampados y para la parte superior una tela con motivo de vegetales y la otra con diseños de dulces, luego doblé la tela enfrentando por el derecho, coloqué la guata debajo y sujeté con alfileres.
Then I sewed the pieces with a straight stitch following the lines of the mold and left an opening of approximately five (5) centimeters for turning.
Luego cosí las piezas con puntada recta siguiendo las líneas del molde y dejé una abertura de aproximadamente cinco (5) centímetros para voltear.
I cut the excess fabric, turned the pieces over and made some picks in the rounded parts to give a better shape, with the help of a toothpick I removed the corners of the base of the cake.
Corté el exceso de tela, volteé las piezas e hice unos piquetes en las partes redondeadas para dar mejor forma, con ayuda de un palillo de altura saqué las esquinas de la base del ponqué.
With hand stitching I glued the ribbon that will serve as a hanging and decoration, also a button to decorate and cover the stitches of the ribbon.
Con costura a mano pegué la cinta que servirá de colgadero y decoración, también un botón para decorar y cubrir las puntadas de la cinta.
The last step is to close the openings with hand stitch and join the base of the cake with the top, in this case I used hidden stitch for a better finish, so the pot holder cake is finished.
El último paso es cerrar las aberturas con puntada a mano y unir la base del ponqué con la parte superior, en este caso usé puntada escondida para un mejor acabado, así está terminado el ponqué agarra ollas.
