Greetings creative community, I wish you an excellent weekend together with your loved ones; the days are moving fast and Easter is approaching, I have been working the last few weeks on the beach outfits that require dedication and are long projects, but you can always take some time for other simple and very useful work to carry organized pencils; my dear friend is finishing the second term with her students and to motivate and encourage them she gives them small gifts at the end of the project; this time she asked me to sew pencil cases to give to the students who stand out with their presentations, the children are very excited with the activity and doing their best for the end of the project.
The pencil cases are larger than the standard size, because in addition to the crayons and pencils they will keep their brushes, they are decorated with a pencil on the front and have two colors, to take advantage of the scraps from previous projects.
Saludos comunidad creativa, les deseo un excelente fin de semana en unión de sus seres queridos; los días avanzan rápidamente y se acerca semana santa, he estado trabajando las últimas semanas en los atuendos playeros que requieren dedicación y son proyectos largos, pero siempre se puede sacar un poco de tiempo para otro trabajos sencillos y de gran utilidad para llevar los lapices organizados; mi querida amiga está terminando el segundo lapso con sus estudiantes y para motivarlos e incentivarlos les da pequeños obsequios en los cierre de proyecto; en esta ocasión me pidió coser cartucheras para obsequiar a los estudiantes que destaquen con sus presentaciones, los niños están muy animados con la actividad y haciendo su mejor esfuerzo para el cierre de proyecto.
Las cartucheras tienen un tamaño más grande que la medida standard, porque además de los creyones y lápices guardaran sus pinceles, están decoradas con un lápiz en la parte frontal y tienen dos colores, para aprovechar los retazos de proyectos anteriores.

To make the pencil I joined the fabrics, in the upper part light brown, in the center yellow and in the lower part pink; then I cut three rectangles and gave it the shape of a pencil, rounding the lower part and cutting a triangle in the upper part that will be the tip of the pencil.

To finish I cut strips of POP (seam allowance), and placed a blue ribbon on one end of the zipper that will serve as a hanger and support when opening or closing the zipper, then I closed the sides with a straight stitch and covered with the seam allowance.

I liked the result of these pencil cases, the colors match very well, plus it is a simple project to make and very useful for storing pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers and other school supplies.
