DIY: Sleeveless flannel in peach micro fabric (Eng - Esp)

I'm happy to share a new sewing project: a sleeveless flannel shirt in 180 count peach microfiber fabric. It's a soft, cool fabric, perfect for everyday wear. In December, I did a deep clean of my sewing bags and organized my fabric scraps. Among them, I found several pieces that I can use for new projects. They aren't very wide, but with some snipping, you can get a lot out of the fabric scraps. The flannel shirt has a seam down the front and back to complete the length. The sleeves and collar have royal blue rib knit fabric, matching the fabric print. I invite you to join me in the sewing process.
Hola amigos amantes de los hilos y las agujas, es un placer saludarles deseando que tengan un feliz y bendecido año 2026, que en cada hogar abunden lan bendiciones; amor , paz, prosperidad, salud y más, me siento feliz de compartir un nuevo proyecto de costura, ser trata de una franela manga cero en tela micro durazno 180, es una tela suave, fresca y perfecta para usar a diario; en el mes de diciembre hice una limpieza profunda en mis bolsas de costura y organicé los retazos de tela y entre ellos encontré varios que me servirán para hacer nuevos proyectos, no son tan anchos pero con empates se les puede sacar mucho a los sobrantes de tela, la franela lleva una costura en la parte delantera y trasera para completar el largo, en las mangas y cuello lleva tela rib color azul rey, a juego con el estampado de la tela, les invito me acompañen en el proceso de elaboración.

The first step for this project was to mark and cut the pieces. Due to the narrowness of the fabric, I cut them into four parts, as well as three strips of ribbed fabric to make the collar and cuffs. Then I placed the pieces right sides together and joined them with a straight stitch, thus assembling the front and back.

El primer paso para este proyecto fue marcar y cortar las piezas, debido al poco ancho de la tela las corté en cuatro partes, también tres cintas en tela rib para hacer el cuello y los puños, luego enfrenté las piezas por el derecho y uní con puntada recta, así ensamblé la parte delantera y posterior.
To assemble the flannel shirt, I placed the pieces right sides together, pinned them, sewed the shoulders with a straight stitch, and removed the excess fabric.
Para ensamblar la franelilla enfrenté las piezas por el derecho, sujeté con alfileres, cosí los hombros con puntada recta y retiré el exceso de tela.
Once the shoulders were closed, I pinned them and sewed the sides, using a straight stitch, I went over it again to reinforce it and removed the excess fabric.
The next step was to make the collar and cuffs. I placed the ribbon right sides together and joined the ends. Then I turned it so that the seam was on the inside, folded it over, and ran a zigzag stitch along the edges. This helps it keep its shape and makes it easier to work with when attaching it to the flannel.
Cerrados los hombros, fijé con alfileres y cosí los los laterales, usando puntada recta, repisé para reforzar y retiré el exceso de tela.
El siguiente paso fue hacer el cuello y los puños, enfrenté la cinta por los derechos y uní en los extremos luego volteé de tal forma que la costura quede hacia adentro, doblé y pasé puntada de zigzag por los bordes, esto permite que mantenga la forma y sea más sencillo de trabajar al momento de pegarlos en la franela.
Then I divided the collar and cuffs into four parts and pinned them to the collar and sleeves, using a straight stitch I glued them, stretching from one point to the other, then I passed a zigzag stitch all around the edge.
Luego dividí el cuello y los puños en cuatro partes y los fijé con alfileres, al cuello y mangas, usando puntada recta los pegué, estirando desde un punto al otro, luego pasé puntada de zigzag por todo el contorno.
The last step was to sew a hem approximately 1.5 centimeters wide, which will be the bottom edge. I also used a straight stitch for this. And with these simple steps, a beautiful and cool sleeveless flannel shirt is finished.
El último paso fue coser un dobladillo aproximadamente 1.5 centímetros de ancho, que será el ruedo, para ello utilicé también puntada recta; con estos sencillos pasos está terminada una hermosa y fresca franela manga cero.
