Mike is a young Venezuelan who is in Peru, currently his delicate health condition has not allowed him to continue with his baking work; for this opportunity I want to share with you a #tutorial to develop a pencil case, to store pencils and colors, can also be used as a cosmetiquera or makeup bag.
It is simple to make and with few materials.

El día de hoy me uno a la iniciativa: Un cupcake para Mike creada por @chacald.dcymt esta iniciativa tiene como objetivo colaborar con los tratamientos médicos de @mike.cupcake. publicando un post y configurar las recompensas a beneficio de mike;
Mike es un joven venezolano que se encuentra en Perú, actualmente su delicado estado de salud no le ha permitido continuar con su trabajo de repostería; para esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes un #tutorial para elaborar una cartuchera, para guardar los lápices y colores, también se puede usar como cosmetiquera o portamaquillaje.
Es sencilla de hacer y con pocos materiales.
MATERIALS
Printed fabric (dacron)
Lining fabric.
Closure (35 cm)
Slaider.
scissors,
chalk or soap.
Seam cover
MATERIALES
Tela estampada (dacrón)
Tela de forro.
Cierre (35 cm)
Slaider.
tijera,
Tiza o jaboncillo.
Tapa costura.
PROCEDURE
I marked and cut the mold on the main fabric and lining.
PROCEDIMIENTO
Marqué y corté el molde en la tela principal y forro.
To glue the zipper in front right side to right side zipper and main fabric, and back to back lining and zipper, pinned and stitched.
Para pegar el cierre enfrente derecho con derecho cierre y tela principal, y revés con revés forro y cierre, en ambos extremos de las telas; sujeté con alfileres y pasé costura.
Then I turned right side out and repeated to reinforce the stitching.
Luego volteé por el derecho y repisé para reforzar la costura.
I put the slaider on and brought it to the center, cut off the seam allowance and turned it inside out.
Puse el slaider y lo llevé hasta el centro, corté el sobrante de cierre y volteé por el revés.
I pinned and stitched the sides of the piece, then sewed the seam allowance using straight stitch.
Sujeté con alfileres y pasé costura en los laterales de la pieza, luego cosí el tapa costura usando puntada recta.
To form the base of the pencil case, I joined the openings forming a kind of triangle, stitched and covered with the seam allowance.
Para formar la base de la cartuchera, uní las aberturas formando una especie de triángulo, pasé costura y cubrí con el tapa costura.
Sewn the seam allowances, flipped right side out, and finished, a space pencil case to keep our pencils organized and handy.
Cosidos los tapa costura, volteé por el derecho, y terminado, una cartuchera espacial para mantener nuestros lapices organizados y a la mano

Since you have explained well, step by step, it looks easy to sew a pencil case.
Hi @racn, the process is quite simple, even if you don't have a machine you can sew by hand or also use fabric glue, they work great.

Me gusto mucho este tutorial, el estampado de la tela esta precioso, nunca he usado un tapacostura 😮 se ve todo tan prolijo. Gracias por compartir y por unirte a la iniciativa. Saludos
Hola @irenenavarroart, el tapa costura es para obtener un mejor acabado y también dar firmeza a la base de la cartuchera o bolso, lo puedes hacer con tela POP o la de tu preferencia de 2.5 o 3 cm de ancho,el POP es muy bueno porque es rígida y ayuda mucho al momento de coser y doblar, también venden tapacosturas en nailon listos para coser sin necesidad de doblar.

La cartuchera quedó de lujo. No tenía idea que el cierre fuese tan grande (jaja). Espero su amigo se recupere. ¡Buenas y retumbantes vibras para él y usted!.
Hola @inici-arte, el cierre sobró de un proyecto anterior ja ja, el de la cartuchera mide 35 cm, lo usé así para poner el slaider con mayor facilidad.
