DIY: Sports jumpsuit and flannel for my nephew (Eng - Esp)
Hello friends lovers of threads and needles, happy and blessed Monday in union of your loved ones, I am happy to share with you a sewing project that I sewed with love for my nephew Aaron, it is a sports jumpsuit and a flannel, ideal for daily and hot days of this season, this type of sewing is one of my favorite everything related to babies I love is a world so tender and wide that allows us, create beautiful and comfortable designs for babies, using soft and fresh fabrics that do not mistreat their delicate skin, an important element to consider in the development of baby clothes is the gluing of the elastic, which should not be too tight to avoid pressing the "tummy" of the baby, it is a simple project to do and you can decorate the flannel or monkey with the colors that we like, in this case I combined blue and gray fabric printed with Mickey Mouse designs.
Hola amigos amantes de los hilos y las agujas, feliz y bendecido lunes en unión de sus seres queridos, me siento feliz de compartir con ustedes un proyecto de costura que cosí con mucho amor para mi sobrino Aarón, se trata de un mono deportivo y una franelilla, ideal para el diario y los días calurosos de esta temporada, este tipo de costura es de mis favoritas todo lo relacionado con los bebés me encanta es un mundo tan tierno y amplio que nos permite, crear hermosos y cómodos diseños para los bebés, usando telas suaves y frescas que no maltraten su delicada piel, un elemento importante a considerar en la elaboración de ropas para bebés es el pegado del elástico, que no debe quedar muy apretado para evitar presionar la "pancita" del bebé, es un proyecto sencillo de hacer y se puede decorar la franelila o mono con los colores que nos gusten, en este caso combiné tela azul y gris estampada con diseños de Mickey Mouse.
The fabrics I used for this project were:
Athletic (blue)
Micro peach 180 (with Mickey designs).
The first step for this project is to mark and stitch the patterns, for the flannelila I used athletic and for the jumpsuit I combined both fabrics (micro peach 180 and athletic) I also cut the strips for the sleeves, neck and cuffs of the jumpsuit.

Para hacer la franelilla se cosen los hombros con puntada, recta enfrentando la parte trasera y delantera, luego se pega el sesgo en las mangas colocando la parte derecha del sesgo por el revés de la franelilla, se cose con puntada recta, luego se voltea la tela por el derecho y cosemos el sesgo tratando que la costura coincida con la anterior; es la primera vez que coso un sesgo para mangas de esta forma y es una técnica sencilla que permite un buen acabado y trabajar más cómoda, lo cosí con los laterales abiertos y el resultado me gustó.

I love sewing this type of project and I really enjoy the elaboration process, every detail counts so that the baby is comfortable, this particular job brought to my mind beautiful memories of when my son was a baby and I dressed him in overalls and flannels; Since my son is a little big, I take advantage of it and sew these little clothes with a lot of love for my dear nephew Aarón and the babies of several friends, lingerie and baby clothes are definitely my passion.
Me encanta coser este tipo de proyectos y disfruto mucho el proceso de elaboración, cada detalle cuenta para que el bebé esté cómodo, este trabajo en particular trajo a mi mente hermosos recuerdos de cuando mi hijo era bebé y lo vestía con monos y franelillas; ya que mi hijo está un poco grande aprovecho y coso estas ropas pequeñas con mucho amor para mi querido sobrino Aarón y los bebés de varios amigos, definitivamente la lencería y ropas de bebés mi pasión.
