Good afternoon #NeedleWorkMonday community, happy and blessed Thursday in union with your loved ones. In a previous post I showed you the elaboration of intimate apparel for my family (interiors).
To take advantage of the leftover scraps I made new underwear combining them with black fabric. Making use of leftover fabric has several benefits; it allows us to combine several colors, create colorful designs, make patchwork and save expenses in the family budget; which is very important; since that money can be used to cover additional expenses, on the other hand it is a very practical and creative way to obtain additional income, making intimate garments with different colors and unique designs.

Para aprovechar los retazos que sobraron hice nuevos interiores combinándolos con tela negra. Darle uso a los sobrantes de tela tiene varios beneficios; nos permite combinar varios colores, crear diseños muy coloridos, hacer patchwork y ahorrar gastos en el presupuesto familiar; lo cual es muy importante; ya que ese dinero puede ser utilizado para cubrir gastos adicionales, por otro lado es una forma muy práctica y creativa de obtener ingresos extras, elaborando prendas íntimas con diversos colores y diseños únicos.

PROCEDURE
I marked the patterns on the fabrics, then cut the pieces of the interiors.

Marqué los patrones en las telas, luego corté las piezas de los interiores.
I pinned and using straight stitch I joined the scraps together to form the front pieces of the interiors.
Sujeté con alfileres y usando puntada recta fui uniendo los retazos para formar las piezas delanteras de los interiores.
Once the front pieces were finished, I assembled the inside, facing the front and back right sides together, then the back of the back with the right side of the lining and sewed with a straight stitch, then I joined the sides.

With a zig zag stitch I glued the elastic on the legs and waistband.

I cut the excess fabric, sewed a hem with straight stitch all around the legs and waist, so I finished the interiors for my family, who were very happy with the result.
Corté el sobrante de tela,cosí un dobladillo con puntada recta por todo el contorno de las piernas y cintura, así terminé los interiores para mi familia, quienes quedaron muy contentos con el resultado.
