Fabric patchwork tights: Another finished project on My Bucket List (Eng - Esp)
Greetings friends thread lovers happy and blessed Monday, I am happy to share with you another finished project of my sewing list, this is part of the "homework" of the sewing course, which are assigned as we progress, for this occasion we were asked to do work reusing scraps of fabric we have at home, I looked for my mega bag hahaha and took out the largest in cotton fabric to avoid making many ties, when the instructor saw my scraps suggested me that the type of fabric were ideal for making intimate apparel, without thinking too much I decided to make pantyhose to practice with a bias that I use for the first time (the bias with ornaments on the top), with the scraps on the table I began to mark the largest pieces of the back and front patterns of the pantyhose, I could only cut complete the back parts, the front and the centers have several ties, sewing the scraps requires a little patience but it is fun because you are combining fabrics and devising the design, with the scraps I managed to assemble 3 high-waisted pantyhose, joining the fabrics took me about 1 hour.
Saludos amigos amantes de los hilos feliz y bendecido lunes, me siento feliz de compartir con ustedes otro proyecto terminado de mi lista de costura, este forma parte de las "tareas" del curso de costura, que van asignando a medida que avanzamos, para esta ocasión nos pidieron realizar trabajos reutilizando los retazos de tela que tenemos en casa, busqué mi mega bolsa jajaja y saqué los más grandes en tela de algodón para evitar hacer muchos empates, cuando la instructora vio mis retazos me sugirió que por el tipo de tela eran ideales para hacer ropa íntima, sin pensarlo mucho opté por hacer panty para practicar con un sesgo que uso por primera vez (el sesgo con adornos en la parte de arriba), con los retazos en la mesa empecé a marcar las piezas más grandes de los patrones trasero y delantero de las panty, solo pude cortar completo las partes traseras, las delanteras y los centros tienen varios empates, el coser los retazos requiere un poco de paciencia pero es divertido porque vas combinando telas e ideando el diseño, con los retazos logré armar 3 panty de talle alto, unir la telas me tomó aproximadamente 1 hora.
Then I assembled the panty, I glued the center forming a kind of bag and flipped the piece, I do this process very carefully to avoid unpicking, I check several times that it is organized correctly and then I sew the seam.
Seguidamente armé las panty, pegué el centro formando una especie de bolsa y volteé la pieza, este proceso lo hago con mucho cuidado para evitar descoser, reviso varias veces que este organizado correctamente y luego paso la costura.
Then I glued the elastic bias on the legs with zig zag stitching, stretching 1 cm and then 0.5 cm in fabric and bias, in this case I used black and white bias, I really liked the combination, in fact one of the pantyhose has bias of both colors.
Luego pegué el sesgo elástico en las piernas con costura de zig zag, estirando 1 cm y luego 0,5 cm en tela y sesgo, en este caso utilicé sesgo blanco y negro, la combinación me gustó mucho, de hecho una de las panty tiene sesgo de ambos colores.
Once the bias is glued, I closed the sides and made a fold to cover the seam and give a better finish, this fold requires leaving approximately 2 cm of the fabric without elastic to prevent jamming with the machine due to the thickness of the fabric and elastic.
Pegado el sesgo, cerré los laterales e hice un doblez para tapar la costura y dar un mejor acabado, este doblez requiere dejar aproximadamente 2 cm de la tela sin elástico para evitar trabas con la máquina por el grosor de la tela y elástico.
Finally I glued the bias at the waist, here they call it "bias with moritas" because of the ornaments on the top, to paste it I used decorative stitch, stretching 3 + 1 the elastic, I faced right to right fabric and bias, so that the ornament is down, then flipped and passed again seam to fix the fabric, I glued bows of different colors and finished the pantyhose.
Finalmente pegué el sesgo en la cintura, acá le dicen "sesgo con moritas" por los adornos que tiene en la parte superior, para pegarlo usé puntada decorativa, estirando 3 + 1 el elástico, enfrenté derecho con derecho tela y sesgo, de tal forma que el adorno quede hacia abajo, luego volteamos y pasamos nuevamente costura para fijar la tela, pegué lazos de diferentes colores y terminadas las panty.
Sewing these pantyhose was a lot of fun at first I had some doubts about the combination of fabrics, but as I progressed I liked the contrast of colors and designs of the fabrics, I showed them to my friend and she told me that it is a very original and personalized design that you see in the stores that she has never seen a pantyhose with so many ties hehe.

Coser estas panty fue muy divertido al principio tenía un poco de dudas por la combinación de las telas, pero a medida que avanzaba me gustó el contraste de colores y diseños de las telas, se las mostrér a mi amiga y me dijo que es un diseño muy original y personalizado que se ve en las tiendas que ella nunca ha visto una panty con tantos empates jeje.

Saludos @kattycrochet, aprovechar los retazos es una forma de ahorrar, aunque requiere paciencia unir los retazos, el resultado vale la pena quedan muy lindas y coloridas.
