Greetings creative friends, I wish you a happy weekend together with your loved ones, the beach season began and I am happy to share the development of a bag inspired by the healer of the ocean, it is of two colors and the front pocket is a nice clam, it has large capacity and two internal pockets to carry the necessary products when going to the beach with family to enjoy a refreshing swim and the beautiful seascape.
Saludos amigos creativos, les deseo un feliz fin de semana en unión de sus seres queridos, la temporada playera inició y me siento feliz de compartir la elaboración de un bolso inspirado en la sanadora del océano, es de dos colores y el bolsillo frontal es una linda almeja, tiene gran capacidad y dos bolsillos internos para llevar los productos necesario al momento de ir a la playa en familia para disfrutar un refrescante baño y el hermoso paisaje marino.

I started by making the pattern according to the measurements needed for the bag, then I marked and cut the pieces.

I pinned the outside (main) pieces and sewed with straight stitch, marked and cut the pocket pieces, sewed facing the right sides leaving an opening to turn over.
Sujeté con alfileres las piezas del exterior (principal) y cosí con puntada recta, marqué y corté las piezas de los bolsillos, cosí enfrentando los derechos dejando una abertura para voltear.
I glued the pockets on the inside and outside.
Then I glued the handles leaving ten centimeters of margin from the sides on the outer fabric, on top of these and covering the width of the bag I glued the strips of the zipper.
Pegué los bolsillos en la parte interna y externa.
Luego pegué las asas dejando diez centímetros de margen desde los laterales en la tela exterior, encima de estas y cubriendo el ancho del bolso pegué las tiras del cierre.
The next step was to glue the zipper facing the main fabric and on the back side the back of the lining leaving approximately three centimeters unsewn, I also added a stopper to the zipper on one of the ends.

Pegada la cremallera, enfrenté por el derecho las telas del exterior y las telas del forro, sujeté con alfileres cosí por el contorno dejando una abertura, cerré también las esquinas enfrentando las costuras laterales e inferior, estas darán forma a la base del bolso.
The last step was to turn the bag over, then I closed the opening with a straight stitch and this is the end of a nice bag to go to the beach inspired by the ocean healer.
El último paso fue voltear el bolso, luego cerré la abertura con puntada recta y así está terminado un lindo bolso para ir a la playa inspirado en la sanadora del océano.
I liked the design of the bag and the combination of colors, the clam shell gives it a fresh and beach style, it is the first time I make a bag gluing the zipper from the outside and I liked this technique because it saves time and the handles are stronger and more resistant.
El diseño del bolso y la combinación de colores me gustó, la almeja le da un estilo fresco y playero, es la primera vez que hago un bolso pegando el cierre desde el exterior y me gustó esta técnica porque se ahorra tiempo y las asas quedan más fuertes y resistentes.
