Con esta crecida las familias que pueden permanecer en sus casas, aprovechan la "piscina" que forma el río en los solares y disfrutan de un baño en estas cálidas y refrescantes aguas que el río padre lleva a sus hogares. Durante esta crecidas las autoridades (bomberos, protección, civil, gobernantes y vecinos) están constantemente monitoreando el nivel del agua para informar a las familias si pueden permanecer en sus casas, esta crecida dura aproximadamente mes y medio, luego de la bajada del agua y jornadas de limpieza de las casas las familias retornan a sus hogares.
