International Day for Biological Diversity and its importance in promoting the care of the planet (Eng - Esp)
Hello, hello friends of the @mundo.autismo community! It's a pleasure to greet you and wish you an excellent and blessed week. May the new month be filled with great blessings, health, love, and prosperity in every home. Today I'm sharing a new installment of the creative art column. This time, it's about a school activity to commemorate the International Day for Biological Diversity.
For this event, the school grounds were decorated with beautiful figures of marine and land animals, separated to represent each animal's ecosystem. The decorations were lovely, and among the animals were a lion, zebra, giraffe, monkeys, and a beautiful apple tree. All of these were made with cardboard and recycled materials. I really enjoy attending these activities with my son because I can see the different decorations they create, and I must say this one is very beautiful. Large cardboard leaves simulated the vegetation where these animals live. Before starting, I toured each of these spaces, observing the decorations and taking some photos. It's incredible the ability these children and their teachers have to create such beautiful works.

Que el nuevo mes esté lleno de bendiciones, salud, amor y prosperidad en cada hogar. Hoy les comparto una nueva entrega de la columna de arte creativo. Esta vez, se trata de una actividad escolar para conmemorar el Día Internacional de la Diversidad Biológica.
Para este evento, el patio de la escuela se decoró con hermosas figuras de animales marinos y terrestres, separadas para representar el ecosistema de cada animal. Las decoraciones eran preciosas, y entre los animales había un león, una cebra, una jirafa, monos y un hermoso manzano. Todo esto fue hecho con cartón y materiales reciclados. Disfruto mucho asistiendo a estas actividades con mi hijo porque puedo ver las diferentes decoraciones que crean, y debo decir que esta es muy hermosa. Grandes hojas de cartón simulaban la vegetación donde viven estos animales. Antes de comenzar, recorrí cada uno de estos espacios, observando las decoraciones y tomando algunas fotos. Es increíble la habilidad que tienen estos niños y sus maestros para crear obras tan hermosas.
Next to it is the marine animal area, decorated with blue curtains. Above it are several jellyfish made from plastic bags, followed by sharks, manta rays, fish, coral, algae, a turtle, a starfish, and other marine animals.
I liked the use of balloons to simulate water. The underwater scene is very pretty, and it's my favorite ecosystem. I love visiting the beach and observing the beautiful scenery. This display combines various materials, but my absolute favorite is a beautiful eagle that stands out for its gorgeous feathers and realistic talons. I also love the charming herons flying at sunset, searching for their roosting spots.
Junto a ella se encuentra la zona de animales marinos, decorada con cortinas azules. Encima hay varias medusas hechas con bolsas de plástico, seguidas de tiburones, mantarrayas, peces, corales, algas, una tortuga, una estrella de mar y otros animales marinos.
Me gustó el uso de globos para simular el agua. La escena submarina es preciosa y es mi ecosistema favorito. Me encanta ir a la playa y contemplar el hermoso paisaje. Esta exhibición combina diversos materiales, pero mi favorito es un águila preciosa que destaca por su plumaje magnífico y sus garras realistas. También me encantan las encantadoras garzas que vuelan al atardecer, buscando sus lugares de descanso.
The last area corresponds to several mural panels and decorations alluding to agricultural activities, the main items being seed classification and Environment Day. This celebration aimed to raise awareness among young people about the importance of caring for the environment and biological diversity. Each ecosystem and its respective elements are important, even if they are very small, because they fulfill a specific function in the balance of the planet.
To carry out this activity, several children participated in group presentations and exhibitions, where they explained the importance of caring for animal species, habitats, and, very importantly, rivers, since these are responsible for bringing water to these areas to preserve the life of both plants and animals. They also explained how they made the posters and the animals. The eagle was the most difficult to make, but with teamwork, they achieved an excellent result. The jellyfish look realistic, and the manta ray, with its detailed features, is large and eye-catching. As for the land animals, the lion, giraffe, and zebra look very good, and as I mentioned at the beginning, they are made of cardboard. This activity demonstrates that with creativity and by making use of materials we have at home, we can create beautiful and useful educational resources.

It promotes the care and protection of the environment, as well as animal and plant species.
It stimulates creativity and is also an excellent way to recycle and give a second life to materials we have at home.
It promotes teamwork.
It allows students to participate in activities outside the classroom and overcome stage fright.
It helps students identify land and aquatic animals, flora, agricultural resources and crops of the state, and the importance of caring for the planet.
It contributes to meaningful learning.
La última zona corresponde a varios paneles murales y decoraciones que aluden a las actividades agrícolas, siendo los temas principales la clasificación de semillas y el Día del Medio Ambiente. Esta celebración buscaba concienciar a los jóvenes sobre la importancia del cuidado del medio ambiente y la biodiversidad. Cada ecosistema y sus respectivos elementos son importantes, incluso si son muy pequeños, porque cumplen una función específica en el equilibrio del planeta.
Para desarrollar esta actividad varios niños participaron en exposiciones y presentaciones grupales, donde explicaban la importancia de cuidar las especies animales, los hábitats y muy importante los ríos, ya que estos son los que se encargan de llevar el agua a estos espacios para preservar la vida tanto de las plantas como de los animales, además explicaron cómo elaboraron las láminas y los animales, el águila fue la más difícil de hacer pero con trabajo en equipo lo graron un excelente resultado, las medusas se ven realistas y la mantarraya observando sus detalles es grande y llamativa, en cuanto a los animales terrestres; el león, la jirafa y la cebra se ven muy bien y también como lo mencioné al principio están hechos de cartón, esta actividad demuestra que con creatividad y aprovechando los materiales que tenemos en casa se pueden elaborar hermosos y útiles recursos didácticos.
Beneficios de esta actividad para los niños
Promueve el cuidado y protección del ambiente así como de las especies animales y vegetales.
Estimula la creatividad, además es una excelente idea para reciclar y darle una segunda oportunidad a los materiales que tenemos en casa.
Promueve el trabajo en equipo.
Permite a los estudiantes participar en actividades fuera del aula y dominar el miedo escénico.
Identifica animales terrestres y acuáticos, la flora los recursos y rubros agrícolas del estado, la importancia de cuidar el planeta.
Contribuye a un aprendizaje significativo.

The children and teachers at the school have produced such high-quality work. It’s an excellent way to celebrate Natural Biodiversity Day; there’s a real display of creativity, and I honestly love seeing the children do this sort of thing, it’s how they become aware of the ecosystem and nature, and come to understand and respect it.
I liked all the displays, but as you rightly say, the area depicting the sea and its species is particularly striking, and I was marvelling at the ingenuity they showed in creating the jellyfish. What excellent work! And the agricultural section is so elaborate. Thank you for bringing all this together and sharing it so that more people can see this marvel. A big hug!💗

Estos chicos en equipo con los maestros hicieron un hermoso trabajo, los animales se ven muy bien y realistas, las medusas parecen reales por lo transparente de las bolsas, la mantarraya me encantó va muy relajada nadando, la sela también luce hermosa, tal igual que todos los animales y plantas pero definitivamente el águila es mi favorita, las exposiciones tuvieron excelentes.
Este tipo de actividades son fundamentales para promover en los niños el cuidado del planeta y las especies de animales y fauna, además les brinda la oprtunidad de trabajar en grupo y hacer prersentaciones fuera del aula.

These students, working as a team with their teachers, did a wonderful job. The animals look fantastic and realistic. The jellyfish seem so real because of the transparent sacs. I loved the manta ray; it swims so calmly. The sea turtle also looks beautiful, as do all the animals and plants, but the eagle is definitely my favorite. The presentations were excellent.
These kinds of activities are essential for promoting environmental awareness and respect for animal species in children. They also give them the opportunity to work in groups and give presentations outside the classroom.
