Greetings @family-friends community, I wish you a blessed and prosperous week in family togetherness, this is my first post with you, I appreciate the invitation from friend @theresa16, to join the Perfect Women initiative that invites us to write about the women we admire and have been a fundamental part of our lives.
I could write about many women who have been part of my life, some of them are blood family and others that God put in my path and were a great blessing for my life, when I read the theme several names came to my mind the main one is my mother and one of my sisters, I come from a home formed by 5 sisters, we grew up in a town and we had a happy childhood we played long hours and although we currently live in different cities we are very united.
Saludos comunidad @family-friends, les deseo una bendecida y próspera semana en unión familiar, es mi primera publicación con ustedes, agradezco la invitación de la amiga @theresa16, para unirme a la iniciativa Perfect Women que nos invita a escribir sobre las mujeres que admiramos y han sido parte fundamental en nuestras vidas.
Podría escribir sobre muchas mujeres que han formado parte de mi vida, algunas familia de sangre y otras que Dios puso en mi camino y fueron de gran bendición para mi vida, cuando leí la temática se me vinieron varios nombres a la mente el principal el de mi madre y una de mis hermanas, vengo de un hogar formado por 5 hermanas, crecimos en un pueblo y tuvimos una infancia feliz jugabámos largas horas y aunque actualmente vivimos en diferentes ciudades somos muy unidas.
Who is my mother?
My mother is Amelia, a beautiful, hardworking and brave woman that I love and admire very much, she has always been there for us giving us her unconditional love and support, for me she is a strong and admirable woman, she likes to work and loves to raise chickens and farm animals, the times I visit her I enjoy every moment I can with her, Since she was very young, as my dad told us, she used to get up very early to do the house chores and had time to do the shopping and daily errands, she is a great mom and a great grandmother, after my dad's departure, she has remained firm with ups and downs, always giving support to her daughters and grandchildren, Although her age is advanced she keeps active with her chickens and crops, she really loves and enjoys these tasks, it is nice to see on the table the fruit of the earth and much more if it is cultivated with love and care by the mother to provide healthy food for her family, I usually visit her on vacations and this date coincides with the corn harvest, With my sisters and other family members we prepare the delicious cachapas, but none surpass those made by my mother, in fact she is a great cook, she prepares delicious dishes, she has many virtues and I could write extensively about them, but I want to highlight two special moments in my life that I have shared with my beloved mother.
¿Quién es mi madre?
Mi madre es Amelia una hermosa mujer muy trabajadora y valiente, que amo y admiro mucho; siempre ha estado para nosotras brindando su apoyo y amor incondicional, para mi es un mujer fuerte y digna de admiración, le gusta trabajar y ama criar gallinas y animales de la granja, las veces que la visito disfruto cada momento que puedo con ella, desde muy joven según nos contaba mi papá se levantaba muy temprano hacía los oficios de la casa y tenía tiempo para hacer las compras y diligencias diarias, es una super mamá y una gran abuela, tras la partida de mi papá, ha permanecido firme con altos y bajos, siempre brindando apoyo a sus hijas y nietos, aunque su edad es avanzada se mantiene activa con sus gallinas y los cultivos, estas labores realmente las ama y disfruta, es grato ver en la mesa el fruto de la tierra y mucho más si es cultivado con mucho amor y cuidado por la madre para brindar alimentos saludables a su familia, generalmente la visito en vacaciones y esta fecha coincide con la cosecha del maíz, con mis hermanas y demás familiares preparamos las deliciosas cachapas, pero ninguna superan a las que hace mi madre, de hecho es una gran cocinera, prepara deliciosos platillos, virtudes tiene muchas y podría escribir extenso sobre ellas, pero quiero resaltar dos momentos especiales en mi vida que he compartido con mi amada madre.
The first was to be able to accompany me in my graduation, they were difficult economic times and only she could travel and accompany me in this special moment, we could not celebrate as we had planned but the fact that she was there with me was better than any celebration and I felt very happy because she and my father with his hard work were an essential part of that achievement, I remember that to celebrate we ate some hamburgers in the famous hunger street of the city, they were delicious and we added a lot of cream, it was a very funny moment because we both ended up with our faces and hands full of creams and sauces, because of the exaggerated amount we put on each burger haha.
The second was a trip we made to Caripe, where we had the opportunity to visit the well known "Cueva del Guácharo", it was a day of adventure and fun when we arrived to the cave we took many pictures, and everything was great, when we entered the cave with the guide and a group of visitors our day of adventures got better, maybe because of the excitement of the trip we forgot to wear sports shoes and we went with very happy sneakers, inside the cave there are several springs flowing and there is mud on the floor, From the moment we entered and during the whole tour we were literally skating in the mud, we looked like two little girls playing in the puddle, we held hands and that helped us to hold each other and not fall into the mud, the guide was very inspired explaining every detail of the cave and we were laughing because we almost fell as the tour progressed, after the visit we left the cave and we did not realize that we had our feet and clothes dirty; We went out very fast and wanted to visit the museum, when we were about to enter the gurda stopped us and sent us to wash our feet, without wasting time we went to the nearest water intake which by the way was quite cold, we washed ourselves and back to the museum we could enter and listen to the talk, at the end of the visit we enjoyed some delicious frescas with cream and back home we were very cold because of the wet clothes, this trip was super fun and we had an incredible time, hopefully soon we can repeat an adventure like this.
El primero fue poder acompañarme en mi graduación, eran momentos económicos difíciles y solo ella pudo viajar y acompañarme en este momento especial, no pudimos celebrar como habíamos planeado pero el hecho de que ella estuviese allí conmigo fue mejor que cualquier celebración y me sentía mu feliz porque ella y mi padre con su arduo trabajo eran parte esencial de ese logro, y que ella haya asistido conmigo fue muy emocionante para mi, recuerdo que para celebrar nos comimos unas hamburguesas en la famosa calle el hambre de la ciudad, estaban deliciosas y agregamos mucha crema, fue un momento muy divertido porque las dos terminamos con la cara y las manos llenas de cremas y salsas, por la cantidad exagerada que le pusimos a cada hamburguesa jaja.
El segundo fue un viaje que hicimos a Caripe, donde tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar la conocida "Cueva del Guácharo", fue muy día de aventura y diversión al legar a la cueva nos tomamos muchas fotos, y todo muy bien, al entrar a la cueva con el guía y un grupo de visitantes se puso mejor nuestro día de aventuras, tal vez por la emoción del viaje olvidamos llevar zapatos deportivos y nos fuimos con zapatillas muy felices, en el interior de la cueva fluyen varios manantiales y hay lodo en el piso, desde que entramos y durante todo el recorrido estuvimos literalmente patinando en el lodo, parecíamos dos niñas jugando en el charco, nos tomamos de la mano y eso nos ayudó a sostenernos y no caer al barro, el guía muy inspirado explicando cada detalle de la cueva y nosotras reídas porque casi nos caíamos a medida que avanzaba el recorrido, terminada la visita salimos de la cueva y no nos dimos cuenta que teníamos los pies y la ropa sucia; ya que salimos mu rápido y queríamos visitar el museo, cuando estabamos por entrar el gurda nos detuvo y nos mandó a lavar los pies, sin perder tiempo fuimos a la toma de agua más cercana que por cierto era bastante fría nos lavamos y de vuelta al museo pudimos entrar y escuchar la charla, al terminar la visita disfrutamos unas deliciosa frescas con crema y de vuelta casa teníamos mucho frío por las ropas mojadas, este viaje fue super divertido y la pasamos increíble, ojalá pronto se pueda repetir una aventura como esta.
Yamileth is the fourth of my sisters, whom I love very much; she is a charming girl, with a great personality, she is strong and hard working, she is also the most serious of the clan, she has many talents, she is an excellent cook, she plays several musical instruments, she sings and she was my "teacher" when my passion for sewing was born, many friends tell us that she is very serious, after they treat her they realize that she is an incredible person with beautiful feelings, she is the favorite aunt, she spoils all the nephews and nieces, as a sister she is a great support, friend and accomplice, during a strong health problem I faced she was by my side giving 100% and preparing delicious soups and meals for me, during the 'recovery process, all my sisters and my mother were present but she was my exclusive nurse who was there always helping me and providing the necessary care for my restoration, as my recovery progressed we spent many hours talking and remembering childhood moments, we laughed so much that my mother came to the room to see what was happening because of the noise we were making, we shared incredible moments, one of the most special was her support when my son was born, she came with another of my sisters, Yamelys and they were in charge of taking care of her nephew while I rested, watching them take care of my son and being attentive to me, As I said at the beginning, even though we live in different cities we maintain a very special connection thanks to the principles and values that we received from our father, always emphasizing that love in the family is fundamental and that it is our pillar in the circumstances that we may face in life; I thank God for the family he gave me and I hope soon to be able to visit them and share special moments with them. I admire my sister for her dedication and devotion in helping people, I affectionately call her the "super nurse" for her selfless work helping family and friends, it is a great blessing to be her sister and share our lives.
Yamileth es la cuarta de mis hermanas, a quien amo mucho; es una chica encantadora, con una gran personalidad, es fuerte y trabajadora, además es la más seria del clan, tiene muchos talentos es una excelente cocinera, toca varios instrumentos musicales, canta y fue mi "maestra" cuando nació mi pasión por la costura, muchos amigos nos comentan que es muy sería, luego que la tratan se dan cuenta que es una increíble persona con bellos sentimientos, es la tía preferida, consiente a todos los sobrinos, como hermana es un gran apoyo, amiga y cómplice, durante un problema de salud fuerte que enfrenté ella estuvo a mi lado dando el 100% y preparando deliciosas sopas y comidas para mi, durante el ´proceso de recuperación, todas mis hermanas y mi madre estuvieron presentes pero ella era mi enfermera exclusiva que estaba allí siempre ayudándome y brindando los cuidados necesarios para mi restauración, a medida que avanzaba mi recuperación pasamos muchas horas hablando y recordando los momentos de la infancia, nos reíamos tanto que madre venía a la habitación a ver que pasaba por el ruido que hacíamos, hemos compartido momentos increíbles, uno de los más especiales fue su apoyo cuando nació mi hijo, vino con otra de mis hermanas, Yamelys y se encargaron de atender a su sobrino mientras yo descansaba, verlas a ellas atender a mi hijo y estar pendiente de mi, mi alimentación y todo lo que implica la maternidad primeriza y la recuperación de la cesárea, me hizo sentir muy feliz, amada y apoyada por mi familia, como dije a principio a pesar de que vivimos en diferentes ciudades mantenemos una conexión muy especial gracias a los principios y valores que recibimos de nuestro padre, resaltando siempre que el amor en la familia es fundamental y que ella es nuestro pilar en las circunstancias que se nos puedan presentar en la vida; agradezco a Dios por la familia que dio y espero pronto poder visitarlas y compartir con ellas momentos especiales. Admiro a mi hermana por su dedicación y entrega en ayudar a las personas, cariñosamente le digo la "super enfermera" por su abnegada labor ayudando a la familia y amigos, es una gran bendición ser su hermana y compartir nuestras vidas.
