Among my mother's anecdotes there is a very funny one, every time we remember it at home we laugh a lot, of course at first my mother did not laugh, she was upset, and over time she laughs with us too, my mother is characterized by being brave and hardworking, she likes to do the jobs quickly, no postponing the pending or daily activities are done at the time and already, at home we are five sisters and as children we were afraid of the vast majority of animals that usually visit or stay in the houses; cockroaches, mice, lizards, among others.

Entre las anécdotas de mi madre hay una muy graciosa, cada vez que la recordamos en casa nos da mucha risa, claro al principio a mi madre no le causaba risa, se molestaba, ya con el tiempo se ríe también con nosotras, mi madre se caracteriza por ser valiente y trabajadora, le gusta hacer los oficios rápido, nada de postergar los pendientes o actividades diarias, se hacen al momento y ya, en casa somos cinco hermanas y de pequeñas le teníamos miedo a la gran mayoría de los animales que acostumbran visitar u hospedarse en las casas; cucarachas, ratón, lagartijas, entre otros.

After securing the mouse, she came to us very scared and sent us to finish drying the floor, we quietly went into the kitchen and dried the floor, when we finished one of my sister could not stand it and burst out laughing, the rest of us laughed too and my mother just looked at us very annoyed, that was enough to stop laughing and not say a word, We checked my mom's legs and it was only a slight blow without importance, from that day until today I think my mom is a very brave woman who does not lose focus of her goals, now when we get together we laugh a lot remembering this and other anecdotes in family.

En una ocasión llegaron a la casa varios ratones, nosotras no podíamos verlos porque los gritos se escuchaban en toda la cuadra je, je, mi madre cansada de los ratones decidió hacer una limpieza profunda y consiguió el escondite de los ratones en una de las gavetas de la cocina, sin perder tiempo empezó a lavar la gaveta y la cocina en general, aprovechó y lavó hasta la estufa, con mis hermanas ayudamos a limpiar y cuando estábamos terminando de secar el piso apareció un ratón muy tranquilo por el piso, todas salimos gritando y corriendo, recuerdo que a una de mis hermanas el ratón le pasó por el pie, se imaginarán el grito, mi madre firme en su objetivo de acabar con los ratones siguió en su faena de limpieza y al ver al ratón tomó un cepillo para golpearlo, como el piso estaba mojado y por la premura al salir corriendo se nos cayó una bolsa al suelo, mi madre pasó tan rápido por allí que no vio la bolsa y al pisarla se resbaló y cayó al piso, desde afuera nosotras solo mirábamos, el miedo nos impedía entrar, mi mamá fue tan rápida que en pocos segundos se levantó y siguió persiguiendo al ratón hasta que lo atrapó y lo metió en una bolsa.
Luego de asegurar al ratón vino donde estábamos nosotras muy asustadas y nos mandó a terminar de secar el piso, calladitas entramos a la cocina y secamos el piso, al terminar una de mis hermana no aguantó y soltó la carcajada, las demás nos reímos también y mi madre solo nos miró muy molesta eso bastó para dejar de reírnos y no decir ni una palabra, revisamos las pierna de mamá y solo fue un golpe leve sin importancia, desde ese día hasta hoy creo que mi mamá es una mujer muy valiente que no pierde el enfoque de sus objetivos, ahora cuando nos reunimos nos reímos mucho recordando esta y otras anécdotas en familia.

Creo que todos tenemos anécdotas con ratas y ratones, aquí fue con una rata y la que tuvo el valor para matarla fue mi abuela, pero la manera fe muy graciosa todavía hoy nos reímos del asunto, aunque ella ya no está, mi abuela era bajita, pero que señora tan tenaz.
Ja, ja las historias con los ratones resultan divertidas, es una mezcla de miedo y adrenalina, mi mamá dice como le van a tener miedo a un animal tan pequeño, la anécdota de tu abuela debe ser genial.

Qué animalitos para echar tanta broma en los hogares. Yo recuerdo una vez que entré a un baño y había caído un ratón en un tobo de agua, él le daba a las patitas muy rápido y tenía la cabeza afuera, a mí me dio lastima y lo liberé y luego, todos en casa reclamándome porque le había salvado la vida.
