The Silverbloggers Chronicles - Prompt N° 22; Wanted to be an archaeologist and an astronaut

Greetings friends of @silverbloggers, I hope you have an excellent and blessed day. This is the last weekend of November, leading into the last month of the year, my favorite because it's when we celebrate Christmas. I would have already put up the tree by this time, but for various reasons, it hasn't been possible. I hope to put up the Christmas decorations and decorate the tree this weekend. Compared to previous years, I'm very behind with the Christmas decorations; I've only made one, which is a pretty cardboard sphere decorated with stars. Leaving Christmas aside, let's get to the topic of this post, this is my entry for The Silverbloggers Chronicles - Prompt #22 - When I grow up, when children are asked what they want to be when they grow up, the most common answers are: doctor to take care of their grandparents, firefighter to protect the city where they live, or police officer. Girls usually dream of being princesses and having a closet full of clothes, shoes, purses, and many matching accessories. In my case, when I was little, archaeology caught my attention because I used to see on television programs how people excavating places like the pyramids and other important sites around the world, where ancient cultures lived, found artifacts or clues that told them about the lives of these groups. I really liked it and found it fascinating to discover certain elements of the lives of these civilizations and the contributions they made to humanity.

For many years I watched National Geographic videos about the explorations and excavations these people carried out. One of my favorite videos was the Supercroc; I was impressed by how, from various findings, they managed to assemble a life-size replica of this dinosaur. I consider it a beautiful career for explorers and adventurers.

Besides being an archaeologist, I also wanted to be an astronaut. The subject of space is fascinating, and I enjoy learning about each planet in the solar system and some of the many elements that comprise it. Just like with archaeology, I also watched documentaries about space exploration. Personally, I would love to travel to space and observe the Earth, the planets, and much more from above. My project, or rather my idea, was to go to space on one of the many missions, explore, and take many photographs to show my family and friends, creating a large collection of everything I could observe in the vastness of outer space and sharing it with museums and galleries. But this remained just a childhood dream because, as I grew older, I understood that certain requirements and conditions had to be met to study these fields. I still watch documentaries and read information about both subjects. It has gone from being a career or profession that I love to a hobby. I enjoy watching the documentaries, seeing the information, and how every day technology allows us to learn so much more about space exploration and studies. archaeological.

I invite @hylene74 and @taniagonzalez to join this lovely initiative
