Visiting the Cinta Costera Padel Club (Eng - Esp)
Hello fellow travelers around the world! I hope you all have an excellent and blessed start to the week. Today, I’m sharing my visit to the padel courts—also known as the "Cinta Costera Padel Club"—located along the Cumaná waterfront (Cinta Costera), right next to the biopark and outdoor gym. The facilities are modern and stand out thanks to their striking red and black color scheme. They offer exclusive services for visitors, including a popular food stand that gets very busy—especially on weekends—and shower facilities for players.
From these areas, you can see the sea and a partial view of the Araya Peninsula—part of the Cruz Salmerón Acosta municipality—as well as the "Guardians of the Gulf" office. I really like the office's design, featuring a triangular roof topped with a boat; it looks unusual but adds style and makes the building stand out. After passing the Biopark, you can take a walk along the shoreline and enjoy the beautiful scenery. As I mentioned, the club provides showers for those using the padel court; these are located next to the Biopark.
Hola amigos viajeros en todo el mundo, deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido inicio de semana, en esta ocasión les comparto mi visita a las canchas de Pádel también conocida como: Club de Pádel Cinta Costera", este se encuentra ubicado en la cinta costera de Cumaná al lado del bioparque o gimnasio al aire libre, sus instalaciones son modernas y resalta por la combinación de los colores rojo y negro, cuenta con servicio exclusivo para quienes acuden a sus instalaciones, además una venta de comida muy concurrida especialmente los fines de semana, también tiene duchas para los usuarios.
Desde sus espacios, se observa el mar y parcialmente la península de Araya, que pertenece al municipio Cruz Salmerón Acosta, también se aprecia parte de la oficina de los Guardianes del Golfo, está me gusta mucho por su diseño con el techo triangular y un bote ubicado en la parte superior, se ve curioso pero agrega estilo a la oficina y la hace llamativa; luego de pasar por el Bioparque puedes hacer una caminata por la orilla de la playa y disfrutar el hermoso paisaje, como lo mencioné el club cuenta con duchas para quienes utilizan la cancha de pádel, estas se ubican al lado del Bioparque.
Next to the court stands the club headquarters and a food trailer serving delicious meals; it bears the club's branding with red lettering. Beyond that, we see the courts themselves—featuring red surfaces, netting, and branded signage at the front—along with the lighting fixtures and walkways separating the courts. The interior stands out for its striking red color; the netting is black, and the partitions consist of either small-grid chain-link fencing or tempered glass sections. Parts of the perimeter avenue and some of its landmark buildings are also visible.
As we moved along, I noticed two types of courts: one with a sand surface and another made of red concrete. The former is semi-open, whereas the red-and-black court is fully enclosed; the next photograph shows the court facilities, complete with their respective safety netting.
Al lado de la cancha se encuentra la sede del club y un tráiler donde se expende deliciosa comida, tiene la identificación del club y las letras son de color rojo, luego tenemos una vista de las canchas, el piso de color rojo, las mallas y unas vallas de identificación en la parte delantera, los bombillos y caminerías que separan las canchas; el interior resalta por su hermoso color rojo, la malla es de color negro y las paredes o divisiones son alfajol con diseño de pequeños cubos y otras área están cubiertas con vidrio templado, se observa también parte de la avenida perimetral y algunas de sus emblemáticas edificaciones.
Mientras avanzábamos, pude observar que hay dos tipos de cancha, una tiene el piso de arena y la otra es de concreto en color rojo, la primera es semi abierta, mientras que la de color rojo con negro, es totalmente cerrada, en la siguiente fotografía se observan las instalaciones de las canchas con sus respectivas mallas de seguridad.
As we neared the end of our tour, we moved on to the sand courts and noticed they were partially sectioned off with tape; the nets were taller than the previous ones, and from this vantage point, we could see the large buildings along the avenue, part of the Hernán Marín amphitheater, and several houses. A green walkway separated the two courts, flanked by a strip of crushed stone and a garden with sparse vegetation—apparently fuchsia-colored bougainvillea.
We then stepped onto the sand courts themselves; nearby, we could see other courts with red surfaces, as well as a food trailer. The trailer had a unique design, with the upper section used to store tables and equipment for food service. To the side, we had a view of the gardens, the avenue, and the walkways connecting the courts. It was a lovely experience to explore these facilities, and we even got to watch a match at night—which, incidentally, was very entertaining.
Finalizando el recorrido, avanzamos hasta las canchas con piso de arena y observamos que tienen algunas divisiones con cinta, las mallas son más altas que las anteriores y desde ella se observan los grandes edificios de la avenida, una parte del anfiteatro Hernán Marín y varias casas, para separar ambas canchas, hay una caminería de color verde, seguida de una franja de piedra picada y un jardín con pocas plantas; al parecer son Bugambilias de color Fucsia.
Luego nos dirigimos hacia el interior de estas canchas de arena, al lado se observan las siguientes con los pisos rojos, también el tráiler donde expenden comida, el cual es muy curioso por su diseño y en la parte de arriba guardan las mesas y utilería que se emplea para la venta de comida, seguidamente, por un costado tenemos una vista de los jardines, la avenida y las caminerías de las canchas, fue una linda experiencia conocer estas canchas, sus instalaciones y en horas de la noche pudimos ver un partido, que por cierto fue muy divertido.
