El paseo posee además una estatua de la señora del Carmen, que descansa sobre un pedestal de mármol, a los lados tiene varios tubos de acero para dividir el área de la estatua para protegerla.

Detrás del paseo el Carmen, se encuentra una casa, que resalta por su color y detalles en alto relieve, parece una especie de altar plano, en la parte superior tiene un triángulo y como base cuatro columnas de color vino tinto, en el centro un escudo de armas, que según un residente de la zona está relacionado con las familias que habitaron en esta parte de la ciudad, las ventanas y puertas de esta casa también tienen decoraciones en arco de medio punto y símbolos propios de la fe del pueblo.
Si quieres conocer la historia de la ciudad bajo el dominio colonial el casco histórico es el lugar indicado para observar los elementos resaltantes de la arquitectura colonial y su incidencia en la vid de nuestros antepasados, todo estaba organizado estrategicamente para monitorear los movimientos y rutinas de los habitantes.
