Hello dear friends of Pinmapple and the whole Hive family! Today I'm taking you for a walk in a spectacular place, it's an enchanted forest that I can't wait to share with Hive!
It is Alta Lumina, a beautiful space located in Les Gets, up a mountain and into a forest.
This site is open during the winter season and is one of the highlights of the region, especially for the little ones, but adults are also very attracted by the wonder of this place.
In fact, it is visited by people of all ages, regardless of whether there are children or not, hehe.

Ven a conocer Alta Lumina, el bosque encantado de los Alpes Franceses
Hola queridos amigos de Pinmapple y de toda la familia de Hive! Hoy los llevo a pasear por un lugar espectacular, es un bosque encantado que muero de ganas de compartir con Hive!
Se trata de Alta Lumina, un espacio precioso que se encuentra en Les Gets, subiendo una montaña y adentrándose en un bosque.
Este sitio abre durante la temporada de invierno y es una de las atracciones más destacadas de la región, en especial para los más pequeños, pero los adultos también resultamos muy atrapados por la maravilla de este lugar.
La realidad es que lo visitan personas de todas las edades, independientemente de si hay niños o no, jeje.
How to get there?
To get to Alta Lumina you can walk from Les Gets or you can take a bus from the Parking des Perrienes, the latter is what we did, as we went with some colleagues from work.
It takes about 10 minutes to get there, while if you walk, it may take you about 30 minutes at a normal pace.
Once you get off the bus or arrive at the Alta Lumina area, you must walk a little through the snow to access the entrance.
¿Cómo llegar?
Para llegar a Alta Lumina se puede ir caminando desde Les Gets o se puede tomar un bus desde el Parking des Perrienes, esto último es lo que hicimos, ya que fuimos con algunos compañeros del trabajo.
En 10 minutos llegás al lugar, mientras que si vas caminando, es posible que demores alrededor de 30 minutos a ritmo normal.
Una vez bajas del bus o llegas a la zona de Alta Lumina, debes caminar un poco por la nieve para acceder a la entrada.
What is Alta Lumina like?
As soon as you arrive, you start to feel a different atmosphere, especially provided by the music, which literally comes out of the trees. The lights are dimmed and golden tones are mixed with violet.
A wonderful map of the site awaits you a few meters from the line to enter (in this case there were only a few people), and small bonfires randomly distributed offer warmth while you wait.
Everything starts to become magical.

Ni bien llegas, empiezas a sentir una atmósfera diferente, especialmente brindada por la música, que literalmente sale de los árboles. Las luces se atenúan y se mezclan tonos dorados con violeta.
Un mapa maravilloso del sitio te espera a pocos metros de la fila para entrar (en este caso habían pocas personas), y pequeñas fogatas distribuidas aleatoriamente te ofrecen calor mientras esperas.
Todo empieza a tornarse mágico.
The story told by Alta Lúmina
As soon as you enter, there is a story written in English and French that tells us about a man who goes in a balloon but faces a storm. After reading this, you start walking, and you go through the stages of the storm, from when it starts to appear, until it sends its lightning and until everything starts to return to its equilibrium. Finally the gentleman manages to recompose his balloon and continue his journey.
The forest is beautiful and as Les Gets is a kind of capital of Mechanical Music, in Alta Lumina sounds of this style are used, mixed with sounds of nature that are offered artificially, such as birdsong, rain, wind.
La historia que te cuenta Alta Lúmina
Ni bien ingresas, hay una historia escrita en inglés y en francés que nos habla de un hombre que va en un globo pero se enfrenta a una tormenta. Luego de leer esto, uno empieza a caminar, y va pasando por las etapas de la tormenta, desde que empieza a aparecer, hasta que manda sus relámpagos y hasta que todo empieza a retornar a su equilibrio. Finalmente el señor logra recomponer su globo y seguir viaje.
El bosque es precioso y como Les Gets es una especie de capital de la Música Mecánica, en Alta Lumina se utilizan sonidos de este estilo, mezclados con sonidos de la naturaleza que son ofrecidos de manera artificial, como cantos de pájaros, lluvia, viento.
In addition, there is a sector in the forest where you can generate the sounds yourself by turning a wind-up machine. Thus, there are sounds of guitar, piano, birds and others.
There is also an area where you can write messages with fluorescent markers, which is very nice.
Además, hay un sector en el bosque en donde uno mismo puede generar los sonidos, girando una máquina para dar cuerda. Así, hay sonidos de guitarra, piano, pájaros y demás.
También hay un sector en donde se pueden escribir mensajes con marcadores fluorescentes, lo cual es algo muy bonito.
What I liked the most were the light effects. There is a part where everything turns violet and the same light generates different shadows. On the floor there are like white dots everywhere, and it creates a space out of reality.
Lo que más me gustó a mi fueron los juegos de luces. Hay una parte en donde todo se torna violeta y la misma luz genera diferentes sombras. En el piso hay como puntos blancos por doquier, y se crea como un espacio fuera de la realidad.

Ay que cosa más bonita y hipster a la vez jajaja no había escuchado de esto pero es magia total. Se ve super lindo pero a la vez parece el escenario perfecto para una rave jajaja.
Creo que escribir de lugares así siempre es emocionante y eso transmite tu descripción del recorrido, me has dejado super intrigada con este lugar.
Es muy bonito! Te recomiendo que lo visites si tienes la oportunidad, ya que es muy peculiar. Eso sí, no te vengas a los Alpes franceses exclusivamente por Alta Lumina porque tampoco es para tanto, jeje.
