Hello everybody! It’s a pleasure to me to be here once again in the context of the #monomad challenge, sharing with you some of the most beautiful places that I’ve ever been in, and it’s Tel Aviv (Israel). You won’t see some landscape today, but some beautiful ducks and other animals that was in the HaYarkon Park.

¡Hola todos! Es un placer para mí estar aquí una vez más en el contexto del desafío #monomad, compartiendo con ustedes algunos de los lugares más hermosos en los que he estado, y es Tel Aviv (Israel). No verás un paisaje hoy, sino algunos hermosos patos y otros animales que estaban en el Parque HaYarkon.

Above you can see the picture that I like the most in this series of shots, but there are other good ones, mostly with the duck next to the water.

Arriba podéis ver la foto que más me gusta de esta serie de fotos, pero hay otras buenas, sobre todo con el pato junto al agua.

A kind of farm in the middle of the park

Una especie de granja en medio del parque.

I have to admit that I didn’t like this part a lot, because it was a place that seems to be a farm, but imagine how small it was in that park that is in the urban area of a huge city as Tel Aviv… but I realized that when I had already taken some pictures, that you can see here.

Tengo que reconocer que no me gustó mucho esta parte, porque era un lugar que parece una granja, pero imagínate lo pequeño que era en ese parque que está en el casco urbano de una gran ciudad como Tel Aviv… pero me di cuenta cuando ya había tomado algunas fotos, que puedes ver aquí.

The good news is that the animals seems to be happy and healthy. And is was super cute that the place was surrounded by children that wanted to talk and play with those animals.

La buena noticia es que los animales parecen estar felices y saludables. Y fue super lindo que el lugar estuviera rodeado de niños que querían hablar y jugar con esos animales.

The duck in the river

El pato en el río

That water that you see over there a river in the middle of the park: Yarkon River. If you continued walking next to it, you’d end up in the sea. Despite this, the water was extremely calm, almost without movement.

Esa agua que ves ahí era un río en medio del parque: Río Yarkon. Si seguías caminando junto a ella, acababas en el mar. A pesar de esto, el agua estaba extremadamente tranquila, casi sin movimiento.

That duck, as you can see in the picture, was extremely particular. Honestly, I have no idea about duck’s behavior, but it seems like he or she was taking a look at the others, who were swimming and eating there in the water.

Ese pato, como podéis ver en la foto, era sumamente particular. Honestamente, no tengo idea del comportamiento del pato, pero parece que él o ella estaba mirando a los demás, que nadaban y comían allí en el agua.

In fact, there was a woman with her baby very close to the animal, and she was also taking pictures, but the duck didn’t move. Not even when he saw me there trying to get a good shot.

De hecho, había una mujer con su bebé muy cerca del animal, y también estaba tomando fotografías, pero el pato no se movió. Ni siquiera cuando me vio allí tratando de hacer una buena toma.

The bird was walking from one side to the other in around 2 meters, looking at the woman, looking at me, and looking at the other birds, which made me think about the possibility that the duck was taking care of his flock.

El pájaro caminaba de un lado a otro en unos 2 metros, mirando a la mujer, mirándome a mí y mirando a los demás pájaros, lo que me hizo pensar en la posibilidad de que el pato estuviera cuidando a su bandada.

Only some minutes later, it seems that the bird got tired of looking at two things pointing him, and flew away, to the other side of the river.

Solo unos minutos después, parece que el pájaro se cansó de mirar dos cosas que lo señalaban y se fue volando, al otro lado del río.

Of course I took a better look at this river and continue walking around the park.

Por supuesto miré mejor este río y continué caminando por el parque.

I love animals, and I really enjoy to take pictures of them, but I have to improve my technique. I have to admit that the good shots that you can see are more for the amount of pictures that I take, than for my skills as a photographer (talking about animals).

Anyway, I really wanted to share these pictures on Hive, because I consider that I achieve some good shots, and the pictures of the duck are very good.

Me encantan los animales y disfruto mucho fotografiarlos, pero tengo que mejorar mi técnica. He de reconocer que las buenas tomas que podéis ver son más por la cantidad de fotos que hago, que por mis dotes de fotógrafo (hablando de animales).

De todos modos, tenía muchas ganas de compartir estas fotos en Hive, porque considero que logro algunas buenas tomas, y las fotos del pato son muy buenas.
