Fancy corners of Paris: From Perfume Museum to Lafayette Galeries

Hello everybody in the Liketu community, I hope you are having a beautiful Saturday!! We are going to visit France today, Paris to be precise!

When I visited Paris I still was a girl in love with this city. At my 12 years old, I had the chance to travel with my family to Europe, and somehow I felt in love with this city, so as soon as I had the chance to travel to Europe again, Paris was definitely a must in my journey.

So I arrive there and I spent a week in my beloved city, but pretty fast I re-discovered myself and realized that as a little girl I had been captives of some kind of romance that París offered in my dreamer mind.

So as an adult I decided that Paris is not my favorite city, but I can’t deny that it has a magnetism that makes you look at this place as one of the most magical city in the world.

I these pictures you can see a small area that reunites three interesting attractions, some of them icons in Paris: The Opera, Galeries Lafayette and Parfum Museum.

I didn’t know that everything was so close, because at that time I was just learning on how to travel alone and to go with my map always with me. So I just planned my day to visit the Opera.

I didn’t want to go inside because I’m not a big fan of these buildings and activities, so I took a look around, and I saw almost in front of me the Parfum Museum.

Rincones de lujo de París: Del Museo del Perfume a las Galerías Lafayette

Hola a todos los miembros de la comunidad Liketu, ¡espero que estéis pasando un bonito sábado! Hoy nos vamos de visita a Francia, concretamente a París.

Cuando visité París todavía era una niña enamorada de esta ciudad. A mis 12 años, tuve la oportunidad de viajar con mi familia a Europa, y de alguna manera me sentí enamorada de esta ciudad, así que tan pronto como tuve la oportunidad de viajar a Europa de nuevo, París fue definitivamente un must en mi viaje.

Así que llegué allí y pasé una semana en mi amada ciudad, pero muy rápidamente me redescubrí a mí misma y me di cuenta de que de pequeña había sido cautiva de algún tipo de romance que París ofrecía en mi mente soñadora.

Así que de adulta decidí que París no es mi ciudad favorita, pero no puedo negar que tiene un magnetismo que te hace ver este lugar como una de las ciudades más mágicas del mundo.

En estas fotos pueden ver una pequeña zona que reúne tres interesantes atracciones, algunas de ellas icónicas en París: La Ópera, las Galerías Lafayette y el Museo del Perfume.

No sabía que todo estaba tan cerca, porque en ese momento estaba aprendiendo a viajar sola y a ir con mi mapa siempre conmigo. Así que sólo planeé mi día para visitar la Ópera.

No quería entrar porque no soy muy aficionado a estos edificios y actividades, así que eché un vistazo y vi casi delante de mí el Museo del Perfume.

I thought the entry was free… Because there was a group of people getting into the building, so I just followed them. I took some pictures and I found a room almost empty, so I placed my phone somewhere and took some pictures. In that moment, I realized that it was a paid activity, because I heard someone talking about it, lol. So… I left the place.

Pensé que la entrada era gratuita... Porque había un grupo de personas entrando en el edificio, así que los seguí. Hice algunas fotos y encontré una sala casi vacía, así que coloqué mi teléfono en algún lugar y tomé algunas fotos. En ese momento, me di cuenta de que era una actividad pagada, porque oí a alguien hablar de ello, lol. Así que... me fui del lugar.

After that I remembered that my parents had told me that Galeries LAfayette where close to the Opera, so I looked for it and I went directly there!

I had the best time in that place. The building inside is unique, I’ve never seen something as fancy as that. I’m not a lover of these kind of constructions to be honest, but it was very beautiful and I have to be objective about it.

nyway the best part was when I took the elevator to the terrace. It had quite a view!! From there you could see the Eiffel Tower, so I went kinda crazy with pictures, and that love for Paris reborn as soon as I saw the tower al most in the middle of the sky.

I placed again my phone on the floor and set up the camera for some solo travel pictures, I also ask people for photos and of course I also captured the landscape without me in the picture.

Después recordé que mis padres me habían dicho que las Galerías LAfayette estaban cerca de la Ópera, así que las busqué y fui directamente allí.

Me lo pasé de maravilla en ese lugar. El edificio por dentro es único, nunca había visto algo tan elegante como eso. No soy un amante de este tipo de construcciones para ser honesto, pero era muy hermoso y tengo que ser objetivo al respecto.

Pero lo mejor fue cuando subí en el ascensor a la terraza. ¡¡¡Tenía unas vistas estupendas!!! Desde allí se podía ver la Torre Eiffel, así que me volví un poco loca con las fotos, y ese amor por París renació en cuanto vi la torre al más en el centro del cielo.

Volví a poner mi teléfono en el suelo y preparé la cámara para hacer algunas fotos de viaje en solitario, también pedí fotos a la gente y por supuesto también capturé el paisaje sin que yo saliera en la foto.

So I just wanted to share this beautiful memory with you, because I was taking a look at some of my pics, and suddenly I saw the golden colors of Galeries Lafayette, and I decided it was an interesting post to share in the Liketu Community!
