My second anniversary at Hive: a journey without limits

Hello dear friends of Hive, it's a pleasure to be here, this time to celebrate my 2 years on the platform.

This happened last February 6th, the same day of my mom's birthday.

I am pleased to tell you that of my two years, this is the second time I find myself celebrating my stay in Hive outside my home country, since when I started here, I was in Italy. So officially my life at Hive is more nomadic than sedentary (in reference to living stably in one place).

For this same movement, I decided not to start yet, activities related to communities in Hive, because I feel that I still don't have a balance in the movement, to commit myself to that work, and when I do, I really want to do it well.

Mi segundo aniversario en Hive: un viaje sin límites

Hola queridos amigos de Hive, es un placer estar por aquí, en esta ocasión para celebrar mis 2 años en la plataforma.

Esto se cumplió el 6 de Febrero pasado, el mismo día del cumpleaños de mi mamá.

Me complace contarles que de mis dos años, esta es la segunda vez que me encuentro celebrando mi estadía en Hive fuera de mi país natal, ya que cuando empecé aquí, estaba en Italia. Así que oficialmente mi vida en Hive, es más nómade que sedentaria (en referencia a vivir establemente en un mismo lugar).

Por este mismo movimiento, decidí no iniciar todavía, actividades relacionadas con comunidades en Hive, pues siento que aún no tengo un equilibrio en el movimiento, como para comprometerme con ese trabajo, y cuando lo haga, quiero realmente hacerlo bien.

However, I've been looking for ways to participate in Hive in different ways beyond content creation, and I think I'm well on my way there.

Thus, my first goal has always been consistency on the platform both in my creation, in my votes and in my interaction. In addition, I have sought to create community outside of Hive, participating in the WhatsApp of Hivers of Argentina (sometimes I hang myself, sorry about that, hehe).

De este modo, mi primer objetivo siempre fue la constancia en la plataforma tanto en mi creación , en mis votos y en mi interacción. Además, he buscado crear comunidad fuera de Hive, participando en el WhatsApp de Hivers de Argentina (a veces me cuelgo, perdón por eso, jeje).

Some of what Hive offers us

In this time that I have been with you, I have been able to observe that Hive is really a platform committed to the ecosystem itself, and that includes investors and creators. Why? Because the variety of activities and possibilities that have opened up in this period (and that I have been able to observe and participate in), are many.

For example, Hive parties, Hive Meetups, Hive's collaboration with different real world communities as with Ghana, engagement on Discord with events, with meetup days, with curation channels.

Sometimes I find it hard to believe the beautiful organization that exists, which comes from nothing more and nothing less than that grain of sand that each one contributes with love and trust, and that creates this wonderful network, which in the end, ends up being immense.

I am proud to be here.

Algo de todo lo que nos ofrece Hive

En este tiempo en el que he estado con ustedes, he podido observar que realmente Hive es una plataforma comprometida con el mismo ecosistema,a, y eso incluye a inversores y creadores. ¿Por qué? Pues la variedad de actividades y posibilidades que se han abierto en este periodo (y que he podido observar y en las que he participado), son muchas.

Por ejemplo, las fiestas de Hive, los Hive Meetup, la colaboración de Hive con diferentes comunidades reales del mundo como ocurre con Ghana, el compromiso en Discord con eventos, con días de reunión, con canales de curación.

A veces me cuesta creer la hermosa organización que hay, que deviene nada más y nada menos de ese granito de arena que cada uno aporta con amor y confianza, y que crea esta maravillosa red, que al final, termina siendo inmensa.

Es un orgullo estar aquí.

My participation

At this point, sometimes with more or less frequency and constancy, in addition to my publications in different communities, I have had the pleasure of participating in programs like Onda Positiva, of being in interviews of @palabras1 or @hivemonagas, I was able to be part of the first Hive Meetup Argentina, which although I did it remotely, filled me with pride, and recently I joined LaBitConf, an event that changed my head 100% in terms of virtual connection and the need to make face-to-face community in parallel.

A esta altura, a veces con mayor o menor frecuencia y constancia, además de mis publicaciones en diferentes comunidades, he tenido el placer de participar en programas como Onda Positiva, de estar en entrevistas de @palabras1 o @hivemonagas, pude formar parte del primer Hive Meetup Argentina, que aunque lo hice a distancia, me llenó de orgullo, y recientemente me sumé a LaBitConf, un evento que cambió mi cabeza al 100% en cuanto a la conexión virtual y la necesidad de hacer comunidad cara a cara paralelamente.

What is Hive for me?

Hive is the space where I can gather different tastes, passions, my own profession. It is the place that allows me to take my experiences and transform them into content that I share with you, to give some advice, a review, bring a new point of view, and I also seek to give an example that even if it costs, one can meet their goals, although in the eyes of others may seem very crazy.

In Hive I can also learn, and I can work on my discipline and my commitment, not only with my own projects but also with a community that exceeds my individuality.

Hive is my virtual family, even if we talk sometimes more, sometimes less. Beyond the fact that we may know little of our private lives, there is something that unites us and that we share, and that is Hive, but with Hive we are sharing the change that is coming in the financial system, in the labor system, in the lifestyle itself.

¿Qué es Hive para mi?

Hive es el espacio en el que puedo reunir diferentes gustos, pasiones, mi propia profesión. Es el lugar que me permite tomar mis experiencias y transformarlas en contenido que comparto con ustedes, para dar algún consejo, una reseña, acercar un nuevo punto de vista, y también busco dar un ejemplo de que aunque cueste, uno puede cumplir sus metas, aunque a los ojos de otros puedan parecer muy locas.

En Hive también puedo aprender, y puedo trabajar mi disciplina y mi compromiso, no solamente con mis propios proyectos sino también con una comunidad que excede a mi individualidad.

Hive es mi familia virtual, más allá de que hablemos a veces más, a veces menos. Más allá de que quizás conozcamos poco de nuestras vidas privadas, hay algo que nos une y que compartimos, y es Hive, pero con Hive estamos compartiendo el cambio que se viene en el sistema financiero, laboral, en el mismo estilo de vida.

We all aim for something very similar, and that's a wonder.

Being here fills me with pride and all I can say is THANK YOU. This simple word sums up absolutely everything.

Hive has not only given me everything I am telling you, but has also been a great help financially when things started to get really tough in Argentina.

Even when traveling, I have been able to use my savings in Hive to buy tickets, food, or clothes.

Todos apuntamos a algo muy similar, y eso es una maravilla.

Estar aquí me llena de orgullo y todo lo que puedo decir es GRACIAS. Esta sencilla palabra resume absolutamente todo.

Hive además, no solo me ha dado todo lo que les cuento, sino que también ha sido una gran ayuda a nivel económico cuando las cosas empezaron a ponerse bien difíciles en Argentina.

Incluso viajando he podido recurrir a mis ahorros en Hive para comprarme algún pasaje, comida, o ropa.
