People around the city: their spontaneous walk, Buenos Aires, Argentina - MONOMAD Challenge

Hello my dear hivers of Black and White community and Liketu, in this installment I bring some images of people I took in some streets of Buenos Aires to participate in the #monomad challenge of the day.

If there is something particular I noticed about people in Buenos Aires, especially in the microcenter, is that everyone is in their own world. Suddenly we are in front of a space shared by thousands of pedestrians, but everyone seems to be in their own personal bubble of life. This is something I have always appreciated about big cities, but I had not had the chance to analyze it in the capital of Argentina.

I noticed that everyone is doing their own thing, probably thinking about their problems, their loves, their family, their work, and there are a couple of photos in particular that fascinate me, and they are the ones I took from a balcony.

I carefully positioned myself and the cell phone to capture the sidewalk, which was two floors below.

Although this is an image that one might be used to, the truth is that I had not paid attention to it. It happens quite often, doesn't it? Suddenly noticing something obvious, something that was always there but for some unknown reason, we never paid enough attention to it.

Well, that happens to me and it happened to me with this image, where the size of the people is extremely small, while the sidewalk, the trees, the street and the whole structure that supports the pedestrians, extends below them.

I really like this scene that although static, it denotes movement, just like other photos shared in this publication. I like the black and white in the people, this seemingly frozen life captured in that instant.

In the images, you can also see the spontaneity of the people, especially in their postures, many of them look relaxed while others show the hurry that person had at that moment.

Gente por la ciudad: su espontáneo caminar, Buenos Aires, Argentina - MONOMAD Challenge

Hola mis queridos hivers de Black and White community y de Liketu, en esta entrega traigo algunas imágenes de personas que tomé en algunas calles de Buenos Aires para participar del #monomad challenge del día.

Si hay algo particular que noté en las personas en Buenos Aires, en especial en el microcentro, es que cada una está en su mundo. De pronto estamos frente a un espacio compartido por miles de peatones, pero cada uno parece ir en su burbuja personal de vida. Esto siempre es algo que he valorado mucho de las grandes ciudades, pero no había tenido la posibilidad de analizarlo en la capital de Argentina.

Noté que cada persona va haciendo lo suyo, probablemente pensando en sus problemas, en sus amores, en su familia, en su trabajo, y hay un par de fotos en particular, que me fascinan, y son las que tomé desde un balcón.

Con mucho cuidado me posicioné yo y el teléfono móvil para poder capturar la vereda, que estaba dos pisos más abajo.

Aunque esta es una imagen a la que uno podría estar acostumbrado, la verdad es que no le había prestado atención. Ocurre con mucha frecuencia, ¿no? Esto de de pronto observar alguna obviedad, algo que siempre estuvo allí pero a la que por alguna causa desconocida, nunca le prestamos la suficiente atención.

Pues eso me ocurre y me ocurrió con esa imagen, en donde el tamaño de las personas se ve sumamente pequeño, mientras la vereda, los árboles, la calle y toda la estructura que sostiene a los peatones, se extiende por debajo de ellos.

Me gusta mucho esa escena que aunque estática, denota movimiento, al igual que otras fotos compartidas en esta publicación. Me gusta el blanco y negro en la gente, esta vida en apariencia congelada y capturada en aquel instante.

En las imágenes, también se puede observar la espontaneidad de las personas, en especial en sus posturas, que muchas de ellas se observan relajadas mientras que otras dejan en evidencia el apuro que tenía esa persona en aquel momento.
