Visit with me my memories of a night in the Kreuzberg area, Berlin

Not so long ago, in December 2021, I set foot on German soil for the first time in my life. I went confidently knowing that I would love the cold, but of course, I was unaware of what winter meant in the mighty European country.

After almost a month in Hannover, I arrived in Berlin in January, and was confronted with a reality that although I had seen in movies, I had not imagined on my skin. And it was not only the cold, but the long nights that started at 4 pm. They were not nights, of course, they were dark evenings. But for me, coming from the heart of Argentina, the fact that at that hour the sun went down meant that the day had come to an end.

Nevertheless Berlin was still awake. At least until 7 pm its stores were inviting citizens and visitors to visit them and to shop.

That day I had decided to go to the other side of Berlin, the opposite side from where I was, I wanted to go to Viktoriapark (some other time I will share photos of the arc, because if I do it now, the post will be extremely long).

After touring Viktoriapark, I remember questioning myself about life and the path I was on, when suddenly, the Universe gave me a terrible message:

It was a restaurant with those words. And of course it was! I went in to eat there :D I ordered a tea with a salad, in my attempt to detoxify myself from the eating disorders I had made in Hannover.

As soon as I was done with lunch, I went on my way to explore a bit more of the huge city, and that day, since I was closer to the south side of Berlin, I went to Kirche am Südstern, which means South Star Church.

This is an evangelical church, which simply caught my attention because it was shown on the map as a rather busy spot.

I didn't enter the church because I wasn't interested in going in, but rather I was curious about what was around, and besides, as you will see in the pictures, it was getting dark.

I walked some more and again, went to the map and looked for the next busy place, just as if I was following the clues of some game. In a rather explorative method. I discovered in these months, that this is my preferred way of visiting, much more than having the listing pre-assembled. I always end up doing it, but I leave myself a couple of days to play with intuition at the new destination.

So thus, I discovered that a certain AdmiralBrücke bridge, was being the attraction for many people that evening in Berlin. And as the cloud-filled sky turned from light blue to bright white on that early winter night, I arrived at my new destination.

It turns out that this bridge is very famous for the scenery it offers at sunsets in the city, but that day the sun was hiding behind the clouds. However, the cobblestones and the lights reflecting off the drizzle-painted ground made it a beautiful place to stroll along.

IMG_1138.JPEG

That afternoon/evening, I was particularly happy. I don't quite remember why, to be honest, but I can see it on my face. I'm glad to see those pictures, as I was so cold in Berlin, that my biggest memory is wanting to get out of there to go back to the sun of Italy. But the truth is that today, walking through the photos, I suddenly remembered Germany very fondly.

IMG_1066.JPG

If there is one thing I loved about the two cities I visited in Germany, it was the beautiful swans, which strolled peacefully and steadily along the different rivers, as you can see in the following photo.

IMG_1072.JPEG

Then, I walked along Admiralstrasse, where there was a photo exhibition of faces with only the eyes showing, and it was beautiful.

IMG_1141.JPEG

IMG_1142.JPEG

IMG_1143.JPEG

And at the end of this street, there was the monument Admiral with double of which I have not found information, but as soon as I saw it, I could not help but be amazed. It is an hourglass that marks the real time in Berlin, and the clock shows how second by second, the Northern Hemisphere falls on the Southern Hemisphere. Above the clock, there are two admirals watching.

After this, I continued on my way to the hotel and inevitably looked towards the AlexanderPlatz antenna. There, on the side of the Spree River, the antenna reminded you that you were walking through the center of Berlin.

No eran noches, claro, eran tardes oscuras.

IMG_1138.JPEG

Esa tarde/ noche, yo estaba particuarmente feliz.

Whoever is directly controlling the V2K told me to kill myself.
They told me if I killed myself now it would save the lives of countless others.
Saying the longer I wait to kill myself the more people will suffer.

They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Your stay in prison will not be fun @battleaxe and friends. People are going to want you dead when they find out what you did. I hope you die a slow painful death. You sick mother fuckers.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?

Looks like there's a lot to see in Kreuzberg. Even thouhg it looks cold, I think it's nice to walk out and explore things over there. The area seems to be more beautiful in the evening.
