Hola queridos hivers!! En esta entrega les compartiré una reflexión que creo fundamental al momento de expandir a la plataforma de Hive a nivel global.

Les brindaré un ejemplo que puede que al principio piensen que no tiene nada que ver con Loving Hive ❤️, pero prometo que en breve les explicaré por qué sí es un caso que nos demuestra la importancia de la promoción de Hive en la Web 2.

ADAP case and some Web 2 networks

ADAP Penedés is the only animal protection organization in Catalonia that is supported exclusively by donations.

Although its creator has some contacts and beyond the fact that the first volunteers and collaborators arrived by the famous "word of mouth", the "boom" of this protector came when Anto, one of the volunteers, managed to make a viral video on Instagram that caught the attention of a large audience.

Although the shelter was doing very well before this event, it was from that moment on that donations quintupled, local volunteers doubled, and Worldpackers started to receive a higher demand for future volunteers at this place.

Currently the key to ADAP is not those who maintain the shelter, but the social media team that is in charge of spreading the word about issues such as:

New animals at the shelter
Animals that the audience already knows about
Requests for donations such as medicine or food
Information to the audience about visits to the veterinarian
Diseases that appear among the animals
Places where people can donate
Animals that are being put up for adoption or sent to foster homes (temporary adoption)

Currently, who manages ADAP, is concerned about getting more content creators who can continue with this virtual momentum, making the online community grow.

ADAP Penedés e suma protectora de animales de Cataluña que se sostiene exclusivamente por donaciones.

Aunque su creadora tiene algunos contactos y más allá de que los primeros voluntarios y colaboradores llegaron por el famoso boca en boca, el boom de esta protectora llegó cuando Anto, una de las voluntarias, logró hacer un video viral en Instagram que camptó la atención de una gran cantidad de audiencia.

Aunque la protectora estaba funcionando muy bien antes de este evento, fue a partir de ese momento que se quintuplicaron las donaciones, se duplicaron los voluntarios locales, y Worldpackers empezó a recibir una demanda mayor para futuros voluntarios en este lugar.

Actualmente la clave de ADAP no son quienes mantienen el refugio, sino el equipo de redes sociales que se encarga de la difusión de temas como:

Nuevos animales en el refugio
Animales que la audiencia ya conoce
Pedidos de donaciones como medicamentos o comida
Información a la audiencia de visitas al veterinario
Enfermedades que aparecen entre los animalitos
Lugares a donde la gente puede donar
Animalitos que se van dando en adopción o que se envían a casas de acogida (adopción temporal)

Actualmente, quien maneja ADAP, está preocupada por conseguir más creadores de contenido que puedan continuar con este impulso virtual, haciendo crecer a la comunidad en línea.

When I saw this, I understood that although Hive integrates Web 3, it is essential to make this platform known on Web 2, which is where some social networks are massified.

Although this is something "known", at least for me it was a very clear example of this protector, which practically from nothing, began to grow exponentially thanks to the strength achieved in the social network mentioned.

Cuando vi esto, comprendí que aunque Hive integra la Web 3, es indispensable hacer conocer a esta plataforma en la Web 2, que es en donde se encuentran masificadas algunas redes sociales.

Aunque esto es algo “sabido”, al menos para mi fue un ejemplo muy claro el de esta protectora, que prácticamente de la nada, empezó a crecer exponencialmente gracias a la fuerza lograda en la red social mencionada.
