Buy The Dip!
You may have noticed that the price of Hive is down right now. $0.63 USD at the time of this writing.
Some people are panicking. You can feel it in the airwaves. They are thinking of powering down and trying to liquidate their Hive and HP to preserve some of their assets.
What people should be doing, in my opinion, is buying whatever Hive they can afford to.
Of course, never invest money that you cannot afford to lose, but if you have some fiat laying around, this is a great time to purchase more Hive.
This morning I liberated $1000 from a savings account, and transferred it to Coinbase, buying 11.3970467 LTC. Then I sent that to Block Trades to buy Hive.
After everyone’s fees, I ended up with 1,484.042 HIVE.
The markets have been in the crapper for the most part lately, but historically they will recover. It runs in cyclic nature.
I have no doubt that Hive will return to around a dollar. When it does, I will have made almost $500.00 USD. I can then cash it out or power it up. There are advantages to either route.
This is my opinion and not financial advice. Please do your own research before investing any funds.

Yeah it is lower than what I bought too, lol
It's good to buy the deep now,but am not sure we will be out of the bear market any time soon.its possible that we can go deeper.

You could be right. But I believe in time, it will come back up again.
Yea but also remember you may also loss 90% of your money. Going for long time Investment is not bad at a time like this

Could be. That is why it is important not to use money you cannot afford to lose. Not that I can throw away that amount, but it won't make me homeless.🙂
That ok crypto did crush me. I may be homeless in some days but am trying hard.

It is hard to argue about anyone purchasing at these levels.
We might see lower levels but it seems like these are strong levels.
So the idea to keep stacking.

@beststart - taking advantage at investing during the dip with a few bucks that you can risk is never a bad thing, because on HIVE we also have community, development and use cases; that gives us a bit more confidence on that investment, long-term.

What do you plan on doing with the Hive while you are waiting? I know the powerdown time is inconvenient but I still think putting that Hive to work is better than letting it sit.

Any excess Hive will go into HP.

I don't understand such action. Why are they on Hive in the first place? Since HP is a digital asset and there is so much fear, there is no better time to add than now. You did a great job @beststart. That's the way to do it.

the problem is we don't know if this is still the top we are buying or the dip, when it was 0.8 a friend said buy the dip and last night it got to 0.58, and no one knows when the downtrend is going to stop but the good thing about it is that we earn more hive from posting as the price is low....
You are right, Burl. Timing any market is difficult. My opinion is any purchase below $1 will be fruitful over time.

I don't have the fiat to invest, so the idea is to up my game and earn much more hive in this bear period. We'll see what is going to happen. Either way, I keep doing my thing and work my way to my goals.
